Errr, I don't know where you got that sample, but MS documentation for 4.0 version doesn't say so for ThreadExceptionEventArgs[^].

UnhandledException event in AppDomain is slightly different becouse here the application will always end when your handler finishes, but with ThreadException event you still have an option to recover from the problem and let the application keep on running.
