That was find and dandy, but the subject line said this:
Email subject read: [CodeProject] A alternate has been posted to your tip/trick about "[QuestionName]"
That was a notification of an answer to a question of mine (i.e., not a tip/trick). Also note the "[QuestionName]"... I don't think I named my question that.

As posted by another member in part 2 of his article: "The technique he uses for protecting the software is (mostly) the same viruses are using for protecting themselves from signature-based anti virus software, but this doesn't mean his publishing viruses."
I did a quick check and the virus warning I saw on Microsoft was 2009. The author's article is 2004.
It's not only the legitimate developers who use code from CodeProject.

I often get warnings from my own code when running a new AV.
But I wasn't going to check this one, just in case, although, as you say being from 2004, highly unlikely.

I like the new changes on the main page. However, at the bottom, you do have some real estate that you can get rid of.
In FF3.6, there's some whitespace under "Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, ..." and at the very bottom under "All Rights Reserved....". "All Rights Reserved" can be moved to the end of the line above it clearing up more space.
On a separate note,
* Bold indicates new messages

could use more space between "since" and the border.

I just searched articles for "virtual AND http" (without quotes). When I open one of the articles, the keywords I searched for were highlighted in the article itself. However, I thought it was strange that "AND" was highlighted, as that was an operator not a keyword in the search pattern. Also pretty annoying to see "AND" highlighted every 20 words or so. I imagine this problem also exists with "OR" and "NOT" (and parens and quotes?).

Huh, then I think something's broken. When I do a search and click on a result, none of the words are highlighted.

I went to the article search page and searched for:
iis AND rewrite AND 404 AND directory
The results showed the words highlighted, but after clicking on the first result, the article did not have any words highlighted.
I'm sure it used to highlight articles a few days ago, as I remember having to copy the URL and paste it into a new window to get rid of the highlighting.

Remove the ANDs (we do AND by default) and it works.

When I go to the latest articles, I see this above the article list:
N = New since 9 Oct 2010, U = Updated M = Moved.
That comma seems kinda random. And the period seems odd. Perhaps add a comma after "Updated", or remove the comma and the period.
