It takes a bit more than that............
what about if the symbols are encoded, what about if the user puts whitespace between the symbol and the 's' there are various other things to think about.
Search Google, there are various articles relating to Validating User Input and limited HTML;

I have developed a set of ssrs .rdl reports and am trying to display them from the reportviewer control embeded in my asp web page. The problem is that when I select the print icon on the reportviewer I am prompted to install ms sql server. I need help here. What is the best way to print .rdl reports from the web page's embeded reportviewer control to the client's local network printer?
Thanks,
Steve

After doing some research it appears that using the RsClientPrint ActiveX control is the way to go. Is this correct? Now if this is the best way to do what I want how would I initially install it on every client machine that is accessing my website? Any help with this would be great!. Also, is there a way to set the reportviewer print layout to legal size by default?
Thanks,
Steve Holdorf

aaaaannnnndddd how is this related to ASP?

It's hard to know for sure but based on their use of easydns to manage their own dns it's a reasonable assumption that they might own and use their own servers.

Hi,
Basically when user goes to a site for the first time - say www.abc.com - the cookie is set so that user see the pop up promotion and the main home page is freezed(transparently) and then user either select close and go to home page or continue with the promotion on that...
I have done this in past but now i have totally forgotten what is it called exactly - i know it's not pop up but some other term used for it.
Once i know the term i can Google it and will try to refresh my memory to figure out how to do that bit.
Thank You

Hi ,
I am submitting a html form in ASP.NET 1.1, to a websphere server. I am browsing excel file and submitting through object to Websphere server, by sybmitting form with action as Websphere hosted address.
Whenever I login to app, and try to upload the file with above functionality, for the first time, I get redirected to Login.aspx automatically. But when I re-login again and does the same thing as above, the file is uploaded successfully.
Can you please help me regarding this, as I have maintained releative values of timeout for session and form-authentication in web.config file.

Hi,
I use this code to load a certificate X509Certificate2 cert = new X509Certificate2(filename, password);
The problem is it works fine when the windows user is logged, but it crashed it it's not.... I found this solution but it doesn't work for me, since it was suppose to work without human intervention. Does any one know if it's possible just to load the certificate in a way that the ASP.NET code desn't try to store it?
Thanks,
Dirso

It didn't work for me. I still got the same error. To solve it, I make the website just to register in the db what should be done with the certificate and then another application (a windows one) scheduled to run every minute will do it.
Thanks,
Dirso
