1. "What's New" is related to latest articles, it no where describes "What's New" for the CP website.
I think "What's New" should be changed to "Latest Articles" and keep "What's New" on the main page, which should describe what's new happening to the Code Project website (ex: New scripts loaded, downtime, new discussion boards..blah...blah..)
2. There should be a "History" page, where it describes when the CP started and major milestones achieved so far.

I think that being able to sort the response from a search by modification date could be very usefull.
The most part of times, I just need the most recent article and I don't want to browse all the answers in order to find the right one.
Beside that, this site is very usefull

Why not doing small businesses around Bob's image ? CP fixes the price knowing the cost of making, and takes the difference. Everyone's happy

It would be cool if as well as showing how many new posts there are, the forum list showed how many new threads. How many new and unanswered threads would be even better. Surely I'm not the only one who goes through the forums that cover stuff they know looking for unanswered questions. A filter so only unanswered questions are shown would almost be too much to ask for, but seeing as it IS almost Christmas......
It would also make it more likely that people would get an answer, even if they didn't in the first day of asking.

I'd be interested to know what people are searching for in order to reach codeproject (I'm assuming Chris has access to referrer logs) - then he could tailor a page that'd match all the homework help requests (possibly giving a polite message that we'll help with problems but not write the whole thing for people)

I'll second that idea, it would certainly be a productive thing to do. I often miss questions that I can answer because they disappear from sight very quickly at peak periods.
Not sure about the structure of the forum database tables, it might be a tricky thing to implement and the speed may not make it worthwhile.

It came from one of the first issues of Wired if I remember correctly. The closest I can tell is that it's a turkey-monkey (or a monkey-turkey, depending on your outlook on life).
