You can just localize the view of your website if needed. Not necessary you need data to be converted.
You can assume there are two types of presenting it: UI culture & Data culture.

In resource file i have to give the hindi data as resource know..
i dont have hindi data with me..
instead i want my files which are in english now convert to hindi automatcally.
please note tht i dont have hindi datas with me.

Hi All,

I have a 1st page a.aspx in which i have a IFrame control. Inside iFrame, i opened 2nd b.aspx page. Now i want to access the control values of 2nd Page b.aspx in 1st page Code behind.

Step one, build all projects in the solution. You can see the results in the output window.

Step two, run the project designated as the startup project (its the one whose name is in bold) in debug mode.

DLL Reference in aspx Page Directive.

Hello, This is Vikash Gohil.

I have a small ASP.net sample project.

Now there is a default.aspx page in the project.

There is also a DLL file in the Bin directory named "App_Web_Default.aspx.dll"

Now in the MarkUp of the Default.aspx page, below Page directive is given.

<%@ Page Language="VB" AutoEventWireUp="true" CodeFile="Default.aspx.vb" Inherits="_Default, App_Web_Default.aspx" %>

I am not able to understand the "Inherits" clause.

I think the App_Web_Default.aspx is the DLL name present in the Bin Directory.

I want to know what it actually means.

Has anyone come across or used code in this manner.

Please provide me some clarification.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is my connection string for ExcelSheet :

ActiveX control doubt

Iam using a cab file in my production environment but this does not gets installed (as ActiveX) on the client machine.

I use the same code and everything in development environment, there it is working fine.

Cud anyone suggest a solution ?

Is your ActiveX signed?

There are various options set for an ActiveX in IE. You must have enabled/allow the activeX in your development system.
Client system must be highly secure server, not allowing an activeX to download.

Look for the options here:
IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Security Seetings(Custom Level)(need to select Intranet or Internet) -> ActiveX Controls & Plugins.

Adjust the settins that work for your CAB file. Though, Security is the key and needs to be taken care of.

Hi Devs,

I am planning to develop a webcam application which can say detect your eyes and place a sun glasses onto your eyes. And then you can select which one suits you best.

There are couple of website already doing this but I just want to implement it myself out of interest.
But i have no idea where should i start looking for it and if there are any examples online.

Can anyone please guide me the right path.

Need help on the format of the produced output of the HtmlWriter class.
I need to make properly indent the tags in the final rendered output.

Sample:

string[] Names = new string[] 
            {
                "Johnny",
                "Mindy",
                "Jossy",
                "Kreuger",
                "Marco"
            };

            HtmlTextWriter writer = new HtmlTextWriter(new StringWriter());
            writer.RenderBeginTag(HtmlTextWriterTag.Ul);
            foreach (string name in Names)
            {
                writer.RenderBeginTag(HtmlTextWriterTag.Li);
                writer.Write(name);
                writer.RenderEndTag();
                writer.WriteLine();
            }
            writer.RenderEndTag();

The produced output is this:

  <ul>
    <li>Johnny</li>
    <li>Mindy</li>
    <li>Jossy</li>
    <li>Kreuger</li>
    <li>Marco</li>
</ul>

The closing ul tag is not indented properly.
Any work around for this, thanks a lot.

This looks like some whitespace is rendered before the code snippet you've provided. If this is from the Render method of a control, it may be whitespace introduced in the designer.

i have a problem in accessing textbox from its usercontrol. i have textbox in the user control i.e in ascx file and now i want to use that textbox value in the aspx page. But I want to use it without using delegates and all. is there any simple way to access it like a regular textbox ??

Create a property in the ascx that exposes the value of the textbox.
