If two people answer the same time with essentially the same answer, then as the original poster, I would think "hey, that must be the answer".
It's just the nature of the site.

I'm getting freqent 404 errors here. It doesn't seem to matter where I try to go on the site, or how I try to get there. It also doesn't happen all the time.

I just got from CP:
- a 404 page, saying "HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found." No mention of CodeProject.
- shortly thereafter, a badly formatted Who's Who page; all the data present, lots of orange thingies missing; the green menu just showed a long list of items, layed out vertically. Have proof, could mail.
And I got another 404 when posting this the first time, so had to type it twice.

We've just been upgrading our webservers and I suspect the tech involved forgot to pull the particular server out of the load balance cluster before shutting it down. There have been Words.

Actually that was us, too. I keep asking them to Ctrl+F5 to ensure they aren't repeating issues from previously but they never listen.

I'll add my problem to this thread, since I feel it is related.
I just tried to post an answer in Q&A, the preview came up OK so I committed. When the answer appeared only the first two words were there. I tried several times to 'Improve Answer' with mucho Ctrl-F5ing in between, during and after, but I couldn't even get the preview to appear. During one of the times I pasted my answer into the editor, and this is why I think it relates to this thread, several spurious "404 ........ could not be found" were interspersed throughout the text.
In the end I gave up. I hope that this post works!

I came across something that I don't want to share details on in the forum.
It's a defect that allows users to modify their ranking. I wasn't certain of it, but I tried it on myself and it worked (yes...I'll have to lose 5 points!).
You guys might be aware of it already, but if not, shoot me an email.
