1. I now learned I can edit any comment I choose, however the edit box gets preloaded with an arbitrary comment from that answer, not necessarily the one I clicked for editing.
2. Although all delete widgets present the same hyperlink, I managed to delete a comment. So deletion may be okay; of course a single test is quite inconclusive.

I disagree.
Take this scenario:
- open up a Q&A page, like this one[^]
- don't click anything
- hover any comment delete widget in answer1; for all of them the browser shows the same URL (makes me wonder); didn't test delete functionality any further.
- hover any comment edit widget in answer1; for all of them the browser shows the same URL (makes me wonder)
- click one comment edit widget; yes, the right text appears in the edit window;
- now click cancel
- click another comment edit widget; the previous text appears again, not the one of the comment clicked.
BTW: in the process, suddenly the URL gets an "#answer1" appended, which it shouldn't. I get a feeling you are (ab)using cookies to implement something here. I don't think that is good. IMO the normal way would be to have each widget add a different parameter to the URL, and act on that.
FYI: it also looks as if anybody can change any comment, not only his own, without this being reflected in the name(s) of the comment author. It has been like that, and I think it still is. This is a no no for me.

That URL was there from the beginning. It's an HTML anchor tag. It makes the page scroll to the answer to which you linked. If you want to go to the main (original) question, you need to use its permalink: http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/78966/Get-Enum-Data-Values.aspx[^]

Yes, I considered that as a possibility. Makes me wonder why we get to see a URL (e.g. in the FF status bar) for a widget when it isn't a hyperlink.

When voting on articles it provides a place to put a comment in if you give a vote of less than 3.
In the last two/three days I've just received a bunch of 1/5 votes on a collection of tips/tricks I posted, but people don't leave feedback as to why. While I don't have a problem with a deserved low-vote, it kinda sucks when you're not given the opportunity to improve the text based on someone's suggestion.
What do others think? Should you be required to leave a comment when you're low-voting someone else's work?

Recently i have noticed that on very rare occasions and apparently random times, the Lounge link in the top green menu bar right side is replaced by SoapBox.
The last time i noticed this it was on web24, i never noticed what servers were active on previous occassions.

I don't mind you not showing reputation categories where no points have been earned yet. However not showing the earnings for people who try their hardest and come out negatively is discrimination pure and simple. Here[^] is but one example.

Looks like you changed your email address but haven't reconfirmed it. You would have been seeing lots of bright yellow bars at the tops of forums reminding you to do this. I've resent a confirmation email. Click the link and it will prove your email is good.
