there are default different knid of graphs available in .Net itself, after generating the report just click the icon related to graph it will take you to what u want

Hi All
is it possible to click a button on a web user control and have it retain the focus of the current control on the webform ?
I am trying to integrate the cool TCKeypad Numeric Keypad Web User Control[^] into a webform and want the output of the button to go to the current control of a textbox on my webform rather than the built in textbox of the control.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated

Hello, this is Vikash gohil.
I have created a Activex Control in VB6.0
I have also created the CAB File to deploy this control.
Now I do not know where to place the CAB file, ie in which folder.
Should i put it in Bin folder or the same folder in which the aspx page that uses the control exists.
Also do i need to put the CAB file and the support folder both or just the CAB file.
Please anyone can help me in this matter.
this is my first web deployment, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am working as a web developer. In one of my web aspplication in asp.net I am facing problem.
my aspx page will contains following html tags

As I am disabling the controls inside ajax tab container->tabpanel which is then again contains into the Form view control.
So there are two controls outside ajax tab container TextBox3 & Button1. But these are contains into the formview.
So when I am enter date(or any text) into the TextBox3, then controls inside the current opened tab get disabled using client script as follows

no, you cant run asp.net website without dotnet framework and IIS.

since .NET applications aren't really suppose to run in a linux enviroment, it's not easy, but it can be done.
I'd suggest to take a look at this

With this you can develop in windows using ASP.NET, and you can run compile and run in linux.
Sorry for not giving you an easy answer, but the solution isn't easy

If the description of the tables structures you have given is correct then it should work.
Does it simply return nothing or does it error?
If nothing, then do matching records actually exist?
If an error what is the error?Tychotics: take us back to the moon

Hello guys,
I am developing an application for deploy on a hosting server. The app is data-driven. I want to know which option is the best, maintenable, secured...
Should I just add an SQL Database to the App_Data folder or create the database on my development machine?
Which ever method you suggest, plz tell me what is necessary to be done at the point of deployment.
Also which is better and (code-wise) secured option of deployment, Precompiled or XCopy?

Well i have a user control with Save button
Inside the user controls i have dynamically added other user control
Now this inner user control shall have a row of radio buttons.On selecting the radio button a dropddown shall be populated with value based for that radio button.
On pressing save button , i need to find out which radio button and what value was selected in the dropdown of which user control.
How can i achieve that? Should i use a javascript handler for each of the radio buttons to populate a hidden variable?

you put those radiobuttons or drop down in a placeholder and on button click use placeholder1.findcontrol("controlname") to find the required control.

I am not kidding but finding very difficult to disable a buton after clicking once so that user should not click same button multiple times.
I tried Javsacript , jquery ...
Its disabling the button but then form is not getting submitted
Help really appreciated

Hi there
I'm using VS2008, sql2005, my web has a few controls, I don't know esacty when it's happen, the aspnet_wp.exe is using a lot of memory, my workstation has 3 Giga ram.
And the real problem is this: a clic butoon take over 2 minutes, this mean the postback is takin 2 minutes.
I've desactivate all conextions with DB, even has a Ajax controls(toolkit).
I've put some brackpoints but between on clic and the first code line take that time.
Help me please I'm COUNTDOWN TO RELEASE
