Attach a javascript function on the linkbutton click.And in that function use window.open.Also pass the querystring in the url.

hi all I need to create a row or div containing 4 textbox and a button dynamically...
on button click that particular row or div with textboxes and button should display. For every button click a new row or div should be added
how can i do please help with any articles or some code...

did you try to create that dynamically.Use some placeholder create the dynamic controls and add them to the placeholder.

this is what i tried im getting 4 buttons along with textboxes
but i want only single button
i want that row say for 'n' times but i could do it only once...

I am not able to understand your actual requirement.If you want one button per row then add it upper for loop.

If you tell me your requirement categorically then may I'll be able to answer your problem.

my requirement is when i click a button
four text boxes should display and this has to repeat, i.e, for every button click i need to generate 4 text boxes...

Hi Every one,

i developed an asp.net(2.0) applicaions which contains the attachments of the clients . these attachments are saved in the shared folder and retrive the file when the user requests.

if i maintain the application and the shared folders in the same system it will work properly.

if i maintain the application in one server and the file folder in the other server i face a lot of security issus like

1.Access Denied

2.Couldnot find the part of the path.

.....

for this i made an common account for the application server and the file server and also set impersonation to true.

Even the i got the couldnot find the part of the path error.

i already gave the everyone with full control to the shared folder and i added the common account and gave it to full control

Is there is any alternate for the save and retrive the files to and from the shared folder.

Please help me...

go to run and open IIS manager by typing inetmgr

in that

go to Application > DefulatAppPool > right click and go to properties

In properties > go to identity tab and change predefiend to Local System

I am using Asp.Net 2.0 with C#, Crystal Reports (VS 2005). I am trying to open a report by passing 4 parameters but it gives an error called "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.". While I debug, I did not get err at any line. It goes smooth but finally it gives an error. Can you guide me?. Here is my code.

During runtime check if rptDoc holds a value. May be rptDoc.Load(Server.MapPath("Reports/STTCertificateAnnual1.rpt")); returns null.

"Expression has been evaluated and has no value" is the value I am getting at rptDoc.Load(Server.MapPath("Reports/STTCertificateAnnual1.rpt"));

But the report is available in proper place. What I have to do to solve this?

If the Reports folder is available in the application root then try
rptDoc.Load("~/Reports/STTCertificateAnnual1.rpt");

What is the value you get when you try Server.MapPath("Reports/STTCertificateAnnual1.rpt") in the immediate window?

Check the value of "rptDoc.IsLoaded" when using the original code rptDoc.Load(Server.MapPath("Reports/STTCertificateAnnual1.rpt"));

It returns true.

I am getting the business objects' symbols(Export, print, Page nagivator, etc.) also at my page followed by my error.

In that case, I've lead you in the wrong direction. The report document is not the cause of the error. Sorry.

Check the parms collection for values. Also check if the no of params you are passing matches what the report is expecting.

Other than that, I've no clues to what is going wrong.

Actually, I pass 4 parameters only. If I pass the same into report directly, I can able to view the report. Through coding, I am trapped. However, you have spent your time for me. Thanks a lot.
