Yeah I know what you mean, for me I started articles while still at uni (so my earlier articles AI and other early ones), but after leaving Uni I found that I really enjoyed the process of finding out how stuff worked, and found that if I was able to write about what I read about, I learned even more, so that was it for me, I just decided to learn as much as I could.

I love stuff like that, though do not have much need for it. But I love structures like that.

Thanks for the link. When I learned LINQ, the first thing I thought is 'cool, what can I LINQ to'? But like you said, in practice, there is very little reason to write your own provider other then to make cool demos.

Good work, I have read how to do it, but never actually done it, I have never been comitted enough to do it.
Did you implement all the LINQ stuff or just standard things like SELECT, etc etc

I implemented what I could; that which was supported by the HSF api. Because HSF has no means to do sorting and some other missing stuff, I skipped a lot. But a lot of the basics are there.
