Stretching html table column will not fit

I have an asp label in a table as shown below.   The label text is set in the codebehind.   I would like the table column to stretch when the label text is to long to fix instead of it wrapping to the next line.   How can this be accomplished?

<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="width: 100%;">
   <tr>
      <td style="width: 250px">>
         <asp:Label ID="Label2" runat="server" Text="Label" Font-Size="9pt"></asp:Label>

You're getting just what you've asked for. The width is set to a specific value, 250px, and the rendering engine is honoring that. Remove the width or possibly use a percentage rather than a fixed value.

Try No Wrap for the text inside the your td:

<td style="white-space:nowrap;">

It will stretch the text inside your table cell.

To Control the text don't wrapped ,Just add a style "white-space:nowrap" to "Label2".

**:It's not good to adding this style about "td".

Sample:

Hi All

I am using Password recovery control of asp.net.
Please tell me how to force user to change password after password
recovery.

And I want to force user to change password after every 60 days.How can i force user to change
password after every 60 days.

I do not want to write custom code.Can I achieve this with the login
controls(PasswordRecovery,ChangePassword,Login etc) provided in asp.net

Googling did not helped me.

Please help

I tried to use 'display' as a value in place of 'none' to see if i could display the hidden panel but it returned error.

I have created a asp.net website with login control.
How do I make sure what the first page is after a successful login?
It seems that if an admin is logged in, then the first page shows as the one the admin browsed to last before logging out. The same applies for a standard user.

Are you sure you want this as a web app? Sounds more like a windows service to me. Before you say yes, do some research on how web applications work. Then come back with some serious questions
