How can I retrive data from access and keep them in variable?

I want to write a program that can retrive data from access file, and keep those data to some variable.I had tried on MFC AppWizard but I can only display data from access on text box. Any one have suggestion or source code? please tell me how can I do it.

If you are able to give me some details about the problem I will try to help you. I am using the lineGetID function with success. Perheps give me a return value, compiler error or so. Please, be careful when using the LPVARSTRING argument. You must allocate enough space using the "new BYTE[ dwEnoughSpace ]".

I used this function in visual basic. There is no difference in the way the TAPI function is used in Visual Basic.
lineGetID(hLine,0,hCall,LINECALLSELECT_CALL,varString,deviceClass)
where :
1) 'hline' is the handle to the line. This parameter is obtained while opening line (m_hLine parameter of lineOpen function).
2) 'hCall' is the handle to the call. This parameter is obtained by dwparam2 parameter of LINE_APPNEWCALL message.
3) 2000 bytes were allocated to the VARSTRING structure.
4) deviceClass is "wave/out"

The function returned a negative value -2147483576

A callback function tends to be global, so is defined above the function that calls it in the cpp file.

No, that is in fact the opposite of what I said. It will be a global, not part of the class, and therefore at the top of the .cpp file so that it is defined before the function that calls it.

a call back function is simply a function that just retreives data inside another function so you dont have to just edit the function all the time to sort out of stuff etc.. crap like that

Wrong - that doesn't disable a button, it makes it *disappear*.

I am writing a feature that requires me to record the creation time of certain active processes. On NT I can achieve this using GetProcessTimes() but I can seem to figure out how to do it on 9x...since I have to support both platforms.

Can anyone provide some sample code for the GetHtmlDocument or GetDocument. I am trying to display HTML Code of a specified URL in a edit box or list but I'm unsure how to do this. I have read some documentation that states I should use the GetHtmlDocument or GetDocument function..

In the CD of Instalation of Visual C++ 4.2 and 5.0 you have the source of wordpad.
I don't remember if are in the CD of Visual Studio 6.
Do You Have Some of these?
I have these cds in my house. If you want, I can send you the sample, the next Monday....
