I'm thinking of it as a private soapbox; and that the only time something should be whacked from it is when it's a spammer/etc and that's best done by posting here.

Yeah, sometimes people put posts such as: "vote 5 if you think I should write this article, or vote one if you think I should write something else". Taking voting from those pages would disallow this behavior, which would be less than ideal.

When did this[^] forum came up?
Just brought it to your notice.

This person[^] has posted the same query something like 40 times in the Quick question/answer section. I don't know if he/she's done it deliberately or there's a bug with the system that caused this.
But PLEASE remove the reposts there!

Was that some sort of a bug in the system or a human [suspicious face] was able to achieve that level of "spammability"?

Not a bug, more of an oversight.

see: http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/3033365/Small-bug-with-pins.aspx
(damn that link thingy is back, I'm on web12 at the moment, Chrome 3.0.195.33)
Steps to reproduce are a bit different tho:
0) Pin a message
1) Open a message below it
2) Unpin the first message (both messages will close now)
3) Open the same message below it
On first click --> nothing
On second click --> message opens but the subject background isn't drawn.
[Edit] to check the link thingy bug
http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/3033365/Small-bug-with-pins.aspx[^]
seems to work now (but I am on web22 now)
[/Edit]
[Edit 2]
Found another way to reproduce:
0) open a message
1) pin another message (directly by pressing pin icon)
2) unpin the message
3) try and open the original message
[/Edit 2]

Me 2 but I think Chris is still looking for a long enough poke to poke this bug out of existence.
The manner in which to reproduce the bug does change so they are trying but I'm getting the feeling it ain't that easy

When I try to login under the Opera browser I keep receiving the message that I provided wrong credentials.
It only happens when I am not signed on but try to download something.
