I'm not sure if there's a time field in SQL. If there's not, just set the date to always be the same, and ignore it and only use the time portion.

Sir,
I used the timepicker from EW & have written the statement as
objData.AddParameter("InTime", tpInTime.SelectedTime);
Here, tpInTime.SelectedTime has datetime as return value which is same in db.
Even its not fare.
Thanx Sir.

You don't have to do that. Use datetime only and when you read, use the functions provided by SQL server to get only time.

Sir,
Which functions to use ? If I inserted it using nvarchar field in db, then its OK & done bt Will it affect when working on report making?
Thanx..

That would be utterly retarded, because you'd lose the ability to work with it as a time.
This was my first google hit[^]. Was that so hard ? You can return just the time portion as a string from a datetime in the database, which is what was being suggested, use the functions in SQL Server to get back just the time, even if you store a datetime.

In SQL Server 2008, there is Time Data Type so that you can insert only time value there.

Show the map on a iframe[^]. So other parts of your page will load while you wait for map to load.

putting it in a div and then hiding the div with javascript will work just fine.

If you're new, why are you working on a project like this ? Why are you using AJAX if you're new to ASP.NET ?
Is this for work, for for yourself ? If there's nothing in the ASP.NET AJAX library that you can use, you'd have to search the web, I assume writing something is not an option.

Read about Repeater control[^]. It allows you to take more control over the rendered HTML.

You don't need AJAX here AFAIK.

I will bet any amount you like that he has no idea what AJAX actually is, and he's really asking for some client side script to make his thumbnails jump out and to make the whole thing as cool as it can be.

Why would you want to select a folder in a website ? What would you do with the folder path ?

i had used FolderBrowserDialog . But it gives error like

m_obBrowser.ShowDialog();

Hello ? FWIW, it's my bedtime and I'm staying up to try to help you here. Why do you want to browse for a folder in your ASP.NET app ?

if not now please help me out early next morning so that i can solve it at today night at least.
i am trying out in javascripting too but in vain
function function1() {
var fso = new ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject");
var parentFolder = fso.GetFolder('c:\\');
}

This will only work in IE, do you not want to support Firefox, etc ? There is no folder browser dialog offered by HTML, which is obviously what you're working with here. You could write an ActiveX plugin ( which will also only work in IE ), but, I ask again, why on earth would you want to browse for a folder anyhow ? Of what use could it possibly be ?
