Yet another person who asks stupid questions, then does not reply when people try to help.

I suspect he wants the full path because he wants to do some sort of file operation that won't work once he deploys to a server.

I mean that his question is obviously asked because he assumes because he can write code on a dev machine that accesses the file by file path, it means that he can magically do the same thing on the server when he deploys. His post asking for more info pretty much proves that. And, so many people ask questions that basically show they know nothing about ASP.NET, then don't respond when people try to help ( this guy did eventually respond, but many do not ).

i want to assign a value
oMediaManagerPro.SourceFile_Path =fuplVideo.PostedFile.FileName;

oMediaManagerPro.Video_Bitrate = 300;

oMediaManagerPro.Audio_Bitrate = 64;

oMediaManagerPro.Audio_SamplingRate = 22050;

MediaInfo oMediaInfo = oMediaManagerPro.ConvertTo_MP4();
but fuplVideo.PostedFile.FileName just give the name of the file not full path.....

What is oMediaManagerPro ? As I suspected, it looks like you have an object on the server and want to set it to use a path on the client, which obviously won't work. I suggest buying a basic ASP.NET book and reading it.

Hi All,

I have a link on the page "site.aspx" when i click it, a popup window named as "windowType.aspx" appears. On this window there is a dropdown that contains the types of the windows. After selecting an option, press the OK button then respective window should be opened (using javascript) and the "windowType.aspx" should be closed.

i am using the following code

function validateAndOpen()
{
var val=document.getElementById('ddlAuditType').value;
if(val=="select")

alert("Please select a window");
return false;
}
else if(val=="civil")

window.open("civil.aspx","","paramerters");
}
else if(val=="transmission")

Then i deployed the application on the server. This works fine on IE8 but not in IE6. Note : It works fine on local development server. I am pretty sure that the URL of the new window is correct other wise it should not work in IE8 also

I'd check the settings on the instance of IE6 you are running, if I were you. Then I'd check to see if IE6 can hit it on staging. You do have a staging server, right?

Now, it will not work.
You have to use Object/Embed Tag to show Flash file in web page.

Hello everyone!
I have a problem with dropdownlist choice selection. I made 3 dropdownlists date month year for entering date of birth. For checking 31 or 30 and leap year i have to enabe autopost back..is there any way that without post back i can modify lists or change as i have seen in many websites..

Yes, Of Course. Implement it using JavaScript. Or use AJAX Update Panel for Partial Postback.

there is no task option of "add extender " in textbox or other controls

i add ajax controltool kit in tools. i want to add calender extender for this purpose i need a textbox with an add extender option. i can't find add extender in textbox. i drag and drop the AJAXControlToolkit.dll assembly into the VS 2008 Toolbox it show all toolboxs.

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
