The questions are generic and are based on what we (CodeProject) are interested in, what we think you guys will be interested in, and what we know advertisers will want to see when looking to make decisions.
Some of the questions are definitely aimed at finding out what you are interested in so we can concentrate on those advertisers who would interest you, but they aren't dictated (or requested) by advertisers. Over the year I take note of the sorts of questions advertisers ask when deciding whether or note to grace our pages and then around the middle of each year I'll put them all together and get another snapshot.
Actually it would be interesting to see who can guess which questions are for advertising, which are for CodeProject's Secret Plans, and which are for everyone's amusement.
cheers,
Chris Maunder

It would be even more interesting if CP could find better jobs for those in the lowest income brackets

Or find a job full stop Something I'll have to get worried about in a little while -- the end of University is rapidly approaching, and something that's giving me just a little concern right now

I find this survey very useful. Good job Chris!
However, at the question regarding educations. I think you should add the student option there, because if you are a student in the 3rd year (out of 5) then your level of education is higher than a high-school degree but lower university degree. Just a thougt.
Best regards,

True, zero rich programmers so far, eh?
Nope, probably more like the rich ones are in the Bahamas right now enjoying the good life rather than filling in a survey
And if you think I am being nasty... well what are you going to do when you make it big? Stay in your job and surf CP all the time?

I won't stay in my job, but I'd be browsing CP and complaining about how all 3 of my choppers are down today and thus I am forced to use a land vehicle
