Hardly useless. There you will find poeple who will be only too happy to work for you.
Of course, they will want paying...or had you noticed that?

It's the most useful reply you will get, trust me.
Either go to rentacoder, or give your client back his money and let someone willing to do research or someone with prior knowledge benefit from their talent. Not a hack like you trying to get free code to profit off of it.

what is the problem with u , i don't know i think you may be a frustrated coder who are not getting projects from retacoder and for your kind information this not of any client project but it is a project which is asked by my boss, he wants me to develop an addin in outlook which allows him to send multiples message to clients , but not using bcc or cc.one client should get one message and their mail id should be in To:.
I think it is enough for you to understand , dont make this forum ugly for the first time in 2 years i got reply like i too have given critical codes to many fellow members but i didn't ask them blah blah blah.

That people like you come and demand code, and you get pissy when you don't get it.
Mogaambo wrote: i don't know i think you may be a frustrated coder who are not getting projects from retacoder
I'm not registered on rentacoder, or I might be, but I have never used the site itself. It's where I redirect tools such as yourself to get work done without trying to rip someone elses work and pass it off as your own, as you admitted to doing here ...

Why would I do this? You're doing a fine job at it yourself.

Why would i, did you know all the answers of c# are you a master or architect of c# who knew every thing or u r genius by birth.I dont know
my boss always happy on my work and i gave him job done in deadline .
Did you not google if you don't know the answers, did u not turned down to codeproject like forums to know your answer.

I told u i am talking of critical codes which i gave them when they asked me thru email, whether it is paypal code or wire transfer code, i always help to those who asked me thru email.

I don't realy understand your attitude: a quick Google gave me two different solutions to your problem. Ok, not in C#, but .NET is .NET is .NET so it would be transferable.
If you didn't "get pissy" as EliottA says, I might have expanded on this, but Hey! I can't be bothered!

Hi all, I'm looking for a class that works like TimeSpan but only takes account of a specifiable working week, so that if you add 12 hours onto 9AM Monday it returns 1PM Tuesday, or if you add 12 hours onto 9AM Friday you get 1PM Monday for a 5-day week, 9-5 working day.
Does such a thing exist?
TIA

Haven't seen one yet.
BTW: It would be similar to DateTime, not TimeSpan, as TimeSpan does not know what the current day is. (That is why it has TotalDays but no TotalMonths).

It's more like a TimeSpan whose duration varies according to the DateTime it's being added to! (or possibly )

I suggest you make an extension method DateTime.AddWorkingHours(int hours) which throws a BadArgumentException on negative values, and iteratively calls AddHours(x) and AddDays(1) until all the hours have been exhauted. That should take no more than 20 lines of code.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm thinking of storing the working week data in SQL with work breaks etc., and writing a whole new class to do the calculations iteratively as you suggest, which an extension method could call.
Oh...VS2005 doesn't support extension methods. *sigh* Just a class then.

Hello everyone,
I need to develop a C# application which can read command inputs from a remote controller through a USB receiver, like the first picture on this link: http://twhtpc.com/index.php/hpremote
It does read certain commands such as the numpads, volume controls. However even I use override WndProc on NativeWindow, the application can't read some commands such as "My Music" and "My Videoes" these WM_INPUT.
Any help is deeply appreciated. Thank You in advance.

Hi,
The code below is a summary of what I have developed which returns 0 or 1 for intResult to indicate a success or failure.
How do I obtain the returned value from within the script when the script is executed?
I think this is to do with altaring the "Create" word in the code below.
Any thoughts please?
Thanks
System.Management.ManagementPath path = new System.Management.ManagementPath("Win32_Process");
object[] methodArgs = { "cscript.exe \\machinename\c$\scriptname.vbs", null, null, 0 };
intResult = (uint)processClass.InvokeMethod("Create", methodArgs);
|
|
|
|
|
The Win32_Process class doesn't return an Exit Code for a process. You'll hhave to use the .NET Process class to get an Exit Code, but, you'll have to get the process object before the script terminates on the target machine. Even then, I can't guarantee it's going to work to get the exit code.

Hi,
I have read it but does not seem to help me.
Let's say I have a simple vbscript called vbscript.vbs which has something like:
wscript.echo "hello"
In the c# code I would like to run this script and return the word "hello".
How do I do this please?
Thanks

Well, what is the value of txtTelephoneNo.Text? If the value of a parameter is null, then it effectively doesn't get added. That said, I doubt the Text property of a textbox can ever be null, and I believe an empty string would be treated differently.

Rob Philpott.

I don't think that's true.
