After creating a tree view, i observe that in addition to the tree node link,
there is always one additional link at the top of the treeview, above the root node.
On clicking that link, control is coming to the tree.
How to disable this additional link?

Hi, what you want to do is to 'bubble' the textchanged event from your usercontrol to the host page.
----usercontrol.ascx---
public event EventHandler TextChanged;
protected void txt_TextChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
if (TextChanged!=null)
{
TextChanged(this, EventArgs.Empty); //Raise Event
}
}
---hostpage.aspx---
On your hostpage a onTextChanged Eventhandler will be available to you. Check the events for the usercontrol on the property window.
Create a method in your hostpage.aspx.cs
protected void UserControlTextChanged (object sender, EventArgs e)
{
//do something
}
Hook this up to the onTextChanged EventHandler on the events list for your usercontrol.
or you can hook it up programmatically like this:
myUserControl.onTextChanged+=new EventHandler(UserControlTextChanged);

I just copied/pasted your link in my browser and it rendered with no error messages. All I see is a chart framework, though, with 0 - 160 along the x-axis, and 0 - 100% along the y-axis. There are no data points displayed. You didn't include the chd=t: data,data,data,data... parameter, though, so you didn't pass it any data.

Create a public method in the user control where bind the controls in the user control with data like below:
public void RefreshThisUC()
{
YourTextBox1.Text = Somevalue;
BindYourDropDownInUserControl();
BindYourGridInUserControl();
}
and call this method in the parent page using the id of the user control like
yourUserControl.RefreshThisUC();

This is exactly what i did at First, but nothing is happening on the userControll. as you can see the user Control has a gridview, maybe is there a way to refresh the gridview itself the the Refresh method, i tried that , i took the code that binds the Grid and put it in the refresh method, but after i do something on the other side nothing happens
