Compile it in [insert OS name here] and get the binary for that OS built.

In addition to what Rajesh said: this is only possible if you are only using OS independant features (so, no UI for instance). If you are using the Win32 API or the MFC, forget about it (although there are libraries which can be used in order to develop cross-platform UIs).

okay.. i just need to do is write a program and compile it without UI.. but because im running on Windows, how do I ensure it run on linux?

If the program only uses things from standard C++ (and the STL), then follow what Rajesh told you: you need to recompile it for linux (with a compiler for Linux). So you will end up with two binaries: one for windows and one for Linux.

By correctly setting the horizontal extent.

Is that an HTML or CHM file? Have you tried something like:

How about NetUserEnum() , or NetGroupGetUsers() (for a global group)?

Hi,
How can I add/remove a menu( with 2 sub item) to existing menu.
CMenu::AppendMenu, InsertMenu, RemoveMenu
another way is to have 2 menus in the resoures and work with LoadMenu() and SetMenu().

I have a multilingual application. When I am loading strings from DLLs, their font size is very small. How can I increase the font size?
Can anyone tell me please ?
Thank you.

Does it matter where the string is loaded from? Isn't the size dependent on the characteristics of the font face used to display text? Have a look at CFont::CreateFont()[^] (mfc usage assumed).

Code is there, Sir, though I already said to you, the font is very very small...
