Hi there,
I am creating a Windows form, of which, I have removed the title bar which addresses the Minimize, maximize and close buttons, by defining the FormBorderStyle entry as None. However, I have added the minimize and close button on the top right corner of my Border/Title less form. But the problem is, when I try to drag the form from one location of the desktop to another, it doesn't seem to move and remains static in its original location. Can anyone offer me a solution to this?
Your help will greatly be appreciated,
Thanks,

Just add this code to your form
protected override void WndProc(ref Message m)
{
if (m.Msg == 0x0084 )
{
m.Result = (IntPtr)2;
return;
}
base.WndProc(ref m);
}

Ok I have been having the most trouble with the Process class. It keeps throw Access Is Denied for everything. I stumbled across this.
[HostProtectionAttribute(SecurityAction.LinkDemand, SharedState = true, Synchronization = true,
ExternalProcessMgmt = true, SelfAffectingProcessMgmt = true)]
[PermissionSetAttribute(SecurityAction.LinkDemand, Name="FullTrust")]
[PermissionSetAttribute(SecurityAction.InheritanceDemand, Name = "FullTrust")]
Now I have no clue about this but I know your supposed to put above a func, constructor and all that. How can I just give my app all these permissions. Or better yet is there a better way to stop these rediculous exceptions. It happens on HasExited, Kill, Close, etc.

Where is the code being launched from and what does your code that uses the Process class look like.
|
|
|
|
|
Declaring
AobotProc = new Process();
AobotProc.StartInfo.FileName = AOPath + "//" + AOExe;
AobotProc.StartInfo.Arguments = "-run -hide";
AobotProc.StartInfo.WorkingDirectory = AOPath;
AobotProc.EnableRaisingEvents = true;
AobotProc.Start();
AobotProc.Exited += new EventHandler(aobot_proc_Exited);
and errors wen
if (AobotProc != null && !AobotProc.HasExited)
{
if (!AobotProc.CloseMainWindow())
AobotProc.Kill();
}
errors at AobotProc.HasExited saying Access Is Denied

What version of the .NET Framework are you using?? Is this code running under Vista??
|
|
|
|
|
.Net 3.5 and yes on Vista
|
|
|
|
|
The Process class uses the system performance counters, which on Vista, requires an Admin level account to use. You really have no choice but to include a manifest with your app that tells Vista that the app will require an administor account to run.
First, watch the video here[^]. Then you can read this[^].

well I have been working on an assigment and it states::
A program has to be developed, and coded in C language, to decipher a document written
in Italian that is encoded using a secret key. The secret key is obtained as random
permutation of all the uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and blank space. As
an example, let us consider the following two strings:
Plain: “ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVXWYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789 ”
Code: “BZJ9y0KePWopxYkQlRjhzsaNTFAtM7H6S24fC5mcIgXbnLOq8Uid 3EDv1ruVGw”
The secret key modifies only letters, numbers, and spaces of the original document, while
the remaining characters are left unchanged. The document is stored in a text file whose
length is unknown.
The program has to read the document, find the secret key (which by definition is
unknown; the above table is just an example and it is not the key used for preparing the
sample files available on the web course) using a suitable decoding algorithm, and write
the decoded document to a new text file.
And I know that I have to upload an English dictionary into the program but I don't why it has been asked.(may be not in that statement but I have to dO THAT). My question is , while I can do that program using simple encryption/decryption algorithm then what's the use of uploading the english dictionary in our program? So is there any decryption algorithm that uses a dictionary to decrypt an encrypted file? or can somebody tell me what approach or algorithm should I use to solve that problem???
An early reply (and also authentic one) will be highly appreciated from you.
Thank you guys.

stop re-posting - what was wrong with the entry below ?
Ha lee wrote: what's the use of uploading the english dictionary in our program?
possibly so you can count the frequency of letters which may help you figure out the secret key - except, as you state, the text is in Italian .. so Im not sure what good an English dictionary would be. Maybe, Commonest English Words -> Letter Frequencies has some mapping to Italian, but even with my limited Italian, it doesnt gell ..
Maybe Carlo (Pallini) if he's watching may have a comment on that
Either way, please be patient when you're posting questions - dont repost becuase you dont get a reply in 5 minutes - most of us here have jobs to hold down !!

Where do I start?
Ha lee wrote: C language
Your in the C# forum, not the C[^] forum.
Ha lee wrote: I know that I have to upload an English dictionary
Where did you get that idea from?
Your assignment is simple:
Encrypted Italian -> Decrpyted Italian
Go through it char by char and decrypt.
Decrypt this:
