I'm storing some images in Oracle database as a Blob data type.Now i want to display the images in .aspx page.How can i do this.

I have datalist which contains product id,product image and quantity in dropdown box and a add to cart link button...when i click the button o need to pass the product id and quantity selected in the dropdownlist to function in the code behind file..
pls help me by givibg some valuable suggentions to overcome this task

Hi,
i used a treeview for Group creation form of accounting work
This treeview structure as showns below,in this form i created
primary groups are Asset,Liablity,Expences,income .....
also i created under the secondary group Fixed asset under the
Primary asset,but one problem is that,double click the secondary
then show creating the duplicate data again and again...........
how can we avoid this,please help me.....(double click is the problem)
i used one click in fixed asset it shows the corrosponding data on
textboxes it works properly....please help me

On a web site I published (pre-compiled) last night, I get the following error. Before pre-compiling it, I was getting a compiler error that a User Control was not found. After compiling on another machine, and running, I get the following Parser error:
"Cannot create an object of type 'System.Type' from its string representation 'System.Int32' for the 'DataType' property" was the, now runtime, parser error I got. The offending tag is
"telerik:RadNumericTextBox .... DataType="System.Int32".... "
I emphasise that this error only occurs on XP SP2, not on Vista and Win7. I'm off to do some Googling and issue logging at Telerik.

Hello there,
I've been searching around the web for a particular issue but i can't fing the exact answer i'm looking for. I want to achieve this kind of style for my controls http://xs538.xs.to/xs538/09153/sc2a813.jpg[^]
If it was a desctop application i would make a base usercontrol, define all the common properties and rendering and then inherit the base control for each of the needed controls.
HOWEVER this trick doesnt word for web? When i define a base UserControl and i add some controls to it, save it , build it and then try to inherit from it, the result control does not HAVE any of the parent's defined controls.
Markup cannot be inherited ?
What is the most correct way to achieve this kind of control style ?

In my form, there is a javascript error relating to some css code. But the code behind the aspx looks fine, cannot findout any error. The funny thing is the page works correctly in Firefox but showing javascript error in IE 7.0.
When I try to execute the page in IE, a file named as WebResource_4.axd file opens and there are error lines (green lines) in many of the places, not sure which line is erroneous. The tooltip says that 'Expected Expression'. I am not getting any head and tail of this file. Can anybody please help to resolve this?

because if you see mozila firefox-> tools->option
it provides the option to disable enable java and active x on browser and once you checked it its always enable for browser.
while in intenet explorer the javascript and java support is on ask mode so it gives error.

Hi,
In gridview with paging if the number records will high, then the page numbers displayed in the bottom also increased. So the grid width increases.
Is there is any way to display the numbers using Dots so that only the first 10 pages will be displayed after that it increased depends upon the total pages.

I have a textbox.I have to trigger an event whenever any key is prressed except the alphabets and numbers like event trigger on when tabg button is pressed.I have used textchanged event but it only worked for enter key.

you need to use timespan function or you can also use
System.DateTime dtTodayNoon = new System.DateTime(2006, 9, 13, 12, 0, 0);
System.DateTime dtTodayMidnight = new System.DateTime(2006, 9, 13, 0, 0, 0);
System.TimeSpan diffResult = dtTodayNoon.Subtract(dtYestMidnight);

The OP was not asking for the difference between 2 datetimes, he asked for a datetime minus 2 days

Buy a basic ASP.NET book and read it. Learn to use intellisense to investigate methods on a class. Learn to use google, and the MSDN site in particular. Asking in the right forum ( this has nothing to do with ASP.NET )
The DateTime class has everything you need.
