Not in Java, but in the "Java Advanced Imaging" library. If you want to manipulate images, check out the PictureBox.

Bitmaps[^] don't have "bands" in them, that's something that is provided by that particular library.

I don't know whether you can use that Java-library with .NET. As it says on the site: "For some code samples, Java 5 features are required."

There's a GetPixel[^] method in the Bitmap class. That's one way of course (and a slow one) and I bet that there are some open-source image manipulation libraries for .NET.

Hi,

On a custom control when i try to draw a rectangle in the mouse move i cant able to remove the previous rectangle.It is visible, so when i drag mouse lost of rectangle appear in its path. In the mouse up i need to save the rectangle on the custom control
My requriment is to draw a rectangle or ellipes like MS paint.

How can i delete the previous rectangle in the mouse move before mouse up?

You asked similar thing a day before. Why not search here or on google? There are lots of articles for related to drawing stuff in windows forms.

It is not that tough to do. You just need to understand Mouse events, Paint event and graphics class.

Hi, how are you doing?

In microsoft excel, there is a option to take a polynomial chart, and in this chart there is a option to view a equation that chart done.
I need this equation in C#, I´m trying to use the component Microsoft.Office.Interop.Owc11, but I have not sucessful, I can see the equation in design mode but I can´t get in code mode.
Someone have some idea?

Hello,

I'm not talking about Kyoto Protocol compliance... it appears that process().start does not respect the PATH environmental variable.

This may be the way that the function works, however; I'm storing the exe that will be started in a path that is in the PATH and attempting to start() it withotu specifying a path.

Is it possible to get start() to search the paths in the PATH variable and have no console window pop up? Apparently, the UseShellExecute property of startupinfo causes a console window to popup even if createnowindow is set to true.

Luckily I know how to do that but sadly a picture box doesn't behave exactly like a form I didn't find any attributes regarding the opacity of a picture box in the code view

you will need to use ImageAttributes and ColorMatrix

ImageAttributes ia = new ImageAttributes();
ColorMatrix cm = new ColorMatrix();
cm.Matrix33 = 0.5f; // half transparent
ia.SetColorMatrix(cm);

now you can use above ImageAttributes instance when drawing image.

Look at the Opacity property of the Form and set it to a number close to zero

what about trying something with the TransparencyKey property of the form.

you could try setting the form to be Red then using Red as the key, that way you may still get the controls full opacity. Im not 100% on this thou, do you want the form to be completely transparent or still some visible?

TransparencyKey works only with exact color.

yeah which as i said, can use red to set form to be transparent and controls still visible. I can only work with the info the OP gives that why i asked more questions
