Did you ever try Googling "apriori algorithm vb.net" to see what comes up?? No?? Try this[^].

Seriously?? Pickup a book on ADO.NET and work through it. You're asking a very basic question that you shouldn't be asking if you had any experience working with databases at all.

New account but same question, you asked the same thing in PHP, and a while ago here as well. No progress then = no progress now dude.

Don't spam the boards in a thread that's 6 months old. What the hell is the purpose in that...

1. This question would be better suited in the SQL forum.
2. Who the hell would we know without seeing the code?
Check the executed sql with profiler for statistics. Also analyze the 2 diff. queries to see if one is doing a scan vs. a seek.
Any suggestions, ideas, or 'constructive criticism' are always welcome.

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how I can grab what characters are to the left and the right of the current cursor position in the text editor from the DTE.
I can only seem to grab the selected text which is undesirable, is there any way of getting these characters simply by moving the cursor next to them?
Thanks in advance!

Is there anything built into VS so I can create help files? or would I have to use a 3rd party software?
Thank you.

There's nothing built into Visual Studio, but you can use MS's HTML Help Workshop[^]. There are, of course, other apps out there that can do it. Just a little Googling will find those.

I'd also suggest HTML Help Workshop. For other solutions, try searching the Lounge, that's a quite common question there.

Can anybody tell me how to copy one column of a data table to another data
table.
Example:I have 2 data tables say dt1,dt2.
Here,i wanna copy only the 1st column values of dt1 into the 1st column of
dt2.
|
|
|
|
|
Enumerate the DataRows in DT1, and copy the values into the appropriate field in DT2.

Hi Dave..
How are you?
Thanks for your reply.
Well, Don't you think this(Iteration) can create the performance issue/Usability issues?
|
|
|
|
|
Well, the fastest option would be to have the database do it using SQL. But, if that's even possible lies in the lack of details you provided on the problem in your original post.

I have no idea on this. Would you need to use something like spy++?

You can't do it easily. You cannot cast a .NET Control class onto an arbitrary control and expect all the fields to be filled in for you for display. You'd have to use the Win32 API functions to get at pieces of the controls, but even then, since your talking about another application, there are functions that will not work acrossed application boundries. The information you get is going to be limited to window parameters.

Thanks for your suggestion but tell me is there no way to do that. How can I call Win32 API to do it.
Thanks.

I didn't say there was no way to do it. I said it takes some Windows Kung Fu.
Some of the functions involved would be GetWindow, FindWindow, EnumWindows, GetWindowText, GetWindowInfo, GetWindowPlacement, GetWindowRect, ...
