I have to tinker with the settings and install/uninstall applications all day long. It would be a huge hassle to not log in with admin rights.

I used to run all the time with admin rights. But this pass month I have created 2 user accounts one for business and one for personal. But I still have to log-on as admin a lot. Mainly because of Visual Studio 2008/2005. I have not yet figured out how to run the Visual Web Developer and be able to copy my updated files to the remote web site from within the program.
I do have one question. If I'm log-on on for all three of my user accounts, 1 as Admin, the other two as local user, and I have one of the local user accounts active, is the Admin account at risk for attach?

I don't know. At home I always use non-admin accounts and only rarely need admin privileges. At work, I've never had a Windows machine without admin privileges so I can only guess.

I've chosen "run as administrator only when required by the OS (eg installs)".

I choose this option too. It seems the closest to UAC to me.

With Vista as with any other Windows you either have admin privileges or not. If you do, you'll get UAC warnings anyway. If you don't you won't be able to install programs without entering credentials for an account with admin privileges.

Good point. To me the survey seems incomplete without this option.

Hi Steve,
IMO too, but not every computer is running a microsoft OS and by far not all of them are running on vista / windows 7. Maybe that's the reason why this option is missing.
