as for OP's question expanded a bit. Create an event like OnDataUpdate or DataUpdated to the button which tells the listview to reload its data.

 I am Brazilian student that I come to developing a capture monitoramento project of video.
It would like help.
The project Is:
1- application owes communicates with a capture board of 4 video input.
2-visualize videos images;
3-and option of Registers the videos of the 4 video capture machines.
Already I tried varias formulas but did not get.

I'm relatively new to programming and this site so excuse me if this is not in the right place. I'm making a program where I think it would be particularly handy to be able to edit the source code files or create new ones. What would be the best approach to doing this? I thought about just making a base program that then runs a .dll that contains all the members etc., but thinking about it today I think that would create a lot of issues. Is there a way to build the .exe and have it contain all the source files, and then be able to extract them, edit them, or insert new ones and dynamically add them into the current running program?

You can use CodeDOM [^]to dynamically create the code, but the real question is why you need to do this?

I don't necessarily need to be able to do this, it's just that my computer is not exactly fast. It takes me longer than I would like to stop the debug process, enter my code, and then restart it. Also, I'm going to put this on other computers that do not have VS installed unfortunately...and I would like if I could edit this code from there without having to go through VS's long install process.

You need to address the issues you are facing in a different way. CodeDOM presents security risks and is very complicated, it's not designed as work around solution.

That doesn't make any sense because if any of the source code for your program changed you would need to rebuild it and redeploy it and it wouldn't be feasible to do that on the fly. Maybe you want to create a scripting style language to allow your users the ability to program some functionality in that way.
Alternatively you could consider supporting some plug-in facilities.

Hello, Community!
I have a problem, that's driving me crazy for days, now...
I have a buffer[] that is filled with data(=WAV) from an external device (NOT a microphone!).
I want to stream the data as soon as a certain amount of data has arrived.
Could somebody, please, tell me, how I can do that (in easy steps!)?
I've tried nearly all the samples here or in the net, already. Most of them use sound files or a capturing device...
At the momemt I can set the SecondaryBuffer to a file, which works fine, but how can I set it to a MemoryStream, for example, and stream that? I would like to have something like that:

i want to develop a window application that will get a '.cs file' as input from a text box and create a class library(.dll file) for it.
this is the method i used to programmatically compile code and generate the executable, but i want to generate a dll.

Well - for a start, you have named your filename with an exe extension. More importantly though, you should set parameters.GenerateExecutable = false; to generate a DLL.

thanx for ur quick response, but i tried those, but it didnt work. actually it creates a dll (an exe that is renamed to a dll).. but i want a class library. for ur info i need to load the dll in NUnit, so if i create a dll as u said, i cant do that.

this is the error that i get when i load the assembly in NUnit,
"System.IO,FileNotFoundException : Could not load file or assembly 'nunit.framework, Version=2.4.8.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=96d09a1eb7f44a77' or one of its dependecies. The system cannot find the file specified."
what is d cause of this error.! how to solve it.?

Sounds like your just missing a referenced .dll. You can either add the nunit assemblies to the GAC, or copy them to the same location as your dll, or one of the search paths for the nunit instance.

Most likely you set only the first element of the array to the parameter, but without seeing the code, it's quite hard to say more.

The byte array is declared "byte[] b = new byte[32];". I set the values with
cm.Parameters.AddWithValue( "@binTrack3", b );
and
cm.Parameters.Add( "@binTrack3", SqlDbType.Binary, b.Length ).Value = b;
Same results.
I should also add, I'm using ODBC connection to connect to Sybase and SQLClient connection to connect to SQL Server.

At a glance, that portion of the code seems fine. Just few questions.
Is the column defined fixed length? If it isn't, I think you should use SqlDbType.VarBinary.
You've used debugger to observe that length of b is 32 and that it has data on every element at the time when the value assignment is made? Also you could check using debugger that cm.Parameters["@binTrack3"] has the value you suspect just before calling the ExecuteNonQuery.

The column is defined as binary. Just for kicks, I tried VarBinary, but I still received the same results. I used the debugger right before ExecuteNonQuery both with SqlDbType.VarBinary and SqlDbType.Binary. It does show the 32-byte array in its entirety.
