It works, but I'd tear strips off anyone who worked with me and did it. Make sure you study delegates in order to be able to move away from this sort of thing. You also need to understand how object oriented code works, and what the new operator does, because it's clear you don't from the code you wrote initially.

I dynamically created ten textboxes on a form(not by dragging controls from toolbox). How can i invoke the events of these controls such as keyPress event? Please help, Thanks.

Just call the method. i.e OnKeyPress(this, new KeyPressEventArgs(char to simulate));

Simply by registering an event handler:
private void TextBox_KeyPress(Object sender, KeyPressEventArgs e)
{
...
}
and this at creation of the textboxes:
TextBox t = new TextBox();
t.KeyDown += new KeyPressEventHandler(TextBox_KeyPress);

the lines Greeeg has suggested are also the lines that Visual Designer would generate
when you would add TextBoxes at design time; you can always try a design change and
look at the code that gets added to the myClass.designer.cs file

hi,
use Grid view for search result in my web page.when i click on search button if there is result it gives properly according to my page.when there is no result it becomes small and on my page there is menu it looks big and search result is attached to it.It looks small.I tried to increase height of grid view but there is no effect.How should i solve this

I have already tried this and it works fine in Windows XP. But in Windows Vista, the service starts and the process doesn't start.
Can you please give some Windows Vista specific help ?

There is no such thing as "Vista-specific help" for this. Have you tried running the service under the debugger and seeing where it's failing? Are you specifying the working folder in the process object? Are you specifying the fully qualified path and filename to the file you're tying to execute?

It could be a permissions problem - Vista can be a bitch with that, I bet you're running with administrator privaleges in XP which is why it works. If so, try adding a manifest file and require your service to be elevated - this'll get you the annoying UAC prompt when your service starts but should fix the problem.

You can use FindWindow api to find position of taskbar. You can call winapi functions by using P/Invoke[^] To find out class name of taskbar by using spy++

You can also use the Rectangles obtained by Screen.PrimaryScreen.Bounds and Screen.PrimaryScreen.WorkingArea to compute the area occupied by the taskbar.

I know it's not normally possible to browse for them in windows and that's why I'm asking this question in the C# forum.
Is there any way to read Firefox cached temporary files and identify them by names and get their contents in C#??

I don't think so, but if you know where they live, you could try. Working out what they are would involve working out the format their stored in, not sure how complex that would be.

Thanks Christian, I found that if you type:
about:cache?device=disk
In the address bar and hit enter, you can read the cache files in a way but not browse them, please let us know if you find a way to work this out someday and I promise to do the same if I knew anything regarding this.
