I did more learning and experiment, but not 100% confident about my points since I have not found any formal resources dealing with how the output of .i file is organized.

I think the way to read .i file is, could you help to review it? Smile | :)

- the preprocessor will write #line information for each line it processed (for all the files you include directly or include indirectly -- that is by include from other directly included files);

- if there is no output for the #line, only #line information will be output;

- if there is output for the #line, #line information and the output will both be output;

- if the line of include files are blank, nothing will be printed.

Correct understanding?
