Please, can you explain what kind of an application are you developing? Somehow, it seems like a malicious application to me. We don't provide help to write malicious code. Or, can you explain?

sure it is not a malicious software, let me explain, we are developing web application that being used inside our company network, and we need to make an application that keep tracking of the user event on the page controls, this will help us when there is an error or exception, we want our application to send us the scenario that makes the errors or exceptions, in order to analyze it and make a knowledge base for our support to our users

Somethings seem HARD to do, until we know how to do them.

Even if you disable context menu i think users would still be able to paste using Keyboard.
If you don't wish to provide implementation for WM_PASTE you can just block paste bye providing the blank implementation as i did in the example of that thread. This way users would not be able to paste anything..
Other than this i don't know any other possible way..
I hope it helps..

Sandip.

I am working on MFC and my application has chat option. I have a CEdit Control for sending messages.
My control is not able to take Japanese characters as input. What could be the possible reason.
I am using UTF8 encodinh scheme.
Is there any properties which i need to set.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance

You might want to start by using UCS-2 (UTF-16 without surrogates. Microsoft likes to call this "UNICODE") within your app for character encodings. This would be the recommended way to pass it around in memory (i.e. CStringW, BSTR, etc...) then you could choose to encode it using UTF-8 when turning it into XML.
Basically, in your "Project", "[YourApp]Properties", set "Character Encoding" to "Use Unicode Character Set".

In My "Project", "[YourApp]Properties", is already set to "Use Unicode Character Set". Do I have to change the configuration also. B,coz its still now working.
Please Help me

Can anyone one post a program here demonstrating the use of IOCTL.
For example setting the brightness of the screen using IOCTL.
how do we use this function ? :
*************************************************************
BOOL DeviceIoControl(
(HANDLE) hDevice, // handle to device
IOCTL_VIDEO_SET_DISPLAY_BRIGHTNESS, // dwIoControlCode
(LPVOID) lpInBuffer, // input buffer
(DWORD) nInBufferSize, // size of the input buffer
NULL, // lpOutBuffer
0, // nOutBufferSize
(LPDWORD) lpBytesReturned, // number of bytes returned
(LPOVERLAPPED) lpOverlapped // OVERLAPPED structure
);
*************************************************************
