I want to install files programatically that are installed by the word (or any office component) when we clck on toll speech menu it ask for install
files or not if we click yes it will install some file which i dont know
CAn i do it programatically.

Installer is basically an executable and you can certainly call it from your program by using any of these APIs like ShellExecute/winExec.

i knnow its done by msiexec but what to call
from command prompt to install remaining speech recognization files.

What do you mean by adding two exe ? 
You mean use the second one in the first one ? Spawning it a new process is not enough ?

you can't simply add two exe's or I am not getting what do you mean by adding? If you want to use the functionality from one exe in another one, you can include the relevant code/header/source files and then proceed.

I guess you want to display your dialog from within your MDI app ? Can't you simply start it as a new program ? Or do you really need it to be integrated in your app ?
If that's the case, then as the previous poster said, you will have to include the source files from your second app into your first app and add some code to create and use the dialog.

Still your question is not clear . Do you mean you need to call MDI appln from the Dialog based application?

You may use the API WinExec in your Dialog based application code. Say if you want to call the MDI application on the click of a button in your dialog based appln, then add it to the OnButtonClick() method the below piece of code.
WinExec("c:\\Polopo_MDI.exe",SW_SHOWNORMAL);

how visual c++ project can be converted into executable form after some installation in any other system where even visual studio is not installed .
i hv used Inno Setup Compiler for this.....
but is there anyother software or method...?

using inno setup during conversion of visualc++ project into window installer set up ,it provides the option to add necessary files or folder to project. i want to add different foloders(database,songs etc that contain files for my program) but it extracts files (all files from added folder) to current directory of installed program not folders but i need folders ..

you have to specify the folder for each file, for example:
Source: "MyDir\MyFile.exe"; DestDir: "{app}\MyDir"; DestName: "MyFile.exe";
you can also use DestName to specify different name for the file

Hi all,
I have a Dialog box on which i have made a list control, i have a class which is derived from CWinThread class.... now what happens is when i click on button values from list control is taken and passed to my second class(which is derived from CWinThread i.e i have started a UI thread). Now what i want is i want to pass the value which is calculated from this thread to my list control....
What message i should use for doing so...

to create rectangle firstly draw group box id (IDC_STATIC) then hide it
and using following code on paint method u can draw rectangle ...
