I did, but it takes a lot more than just me to do this - and the post was to give the OP the opportunity to self-moderate. I hoped he'd calm down and deal with it professionally, but I guess I was wrong. My concern was the CP could get dragged into this if it moved into legal action, which his posts would certainly justify.

Same here. I've tried to give the moron the benefit of the doubt, but some people just don't get it. The ironic thing is that his CV makes him appear to be quite experienced - not at all what you'd expect because his pratlings make him sound 18 years old.

Just googled, Orenburg State University and I don't see a Master's program in their graduate studies program  , and this guy claims to be from the US?

Digging through the CV more, I cannot find an Institute of Innovation, alot of hits, but not one particular place. Makes me wonder if ESP Tech, or what ever the company he slams is called, did their homework and found this same stuff out?

Other places in his CV would seem to suggest he's European. I suspect he's either from the former Soviet states or from the sub-continent.

Too bad you guys store passwords in clear text
Clear text or maybe encrypted, but somehow they can be read
I just tryed your passwordrecovery page, and it sent me my password
It makes me feel weird knowing that anyone there at codeproject with access to db can see my password
Usually people uses the same password for many sites or even to log in to the pc they use
Passwords should be hashed and if someone forgets the password just reset the password to something else
Anyways, it just what i think

Passwords are stored encrpyted in our database. None of the admin interfaces in our system will show anyone your password. The only point at which a password is unencrypted is when it's sent back to you.
We have thought long and hard about one-way encryption or hashing but when surveyed our members asked to be able to recover, not reset, their passwords.
Maybe it's time we asked again...

Well, there's nothing wrong with generating a temporary password. It's not as though it's impossible for a user to change their password after logging in.

Is there any way that a feature like that can be added?
Ive started working on WPF a week or so back and if posting XAML code i have to check the "Ignore HTML tags in this message" check box or it doesn't show up, which looks ugly and messes up my sig.

I agree. The site actually needs to automatically convert the < and > symbols.

It does if you have "Ignore HTML tags in this message" but id we convert all < tags within PRE blocks then it means you can't include markup within a PRE block.
I think what might make more sense is to have "Ignore HTML inside PRE/CODE blocks" as a default setting but allow it to be unchecked.
