Hi all,
how i can display the multiple records of reserved vehicle in a single row
for suppose if one vehicle is reserved two times in a current date i have to display both records in a single row against vehicle name .
and in a second row i want to display records for second vehicle if it is reseerved iam usiing sql server 2000 as beckend database .
my fileds are Reserve_ID,Vehicle_Name,ReserveStarttime,ReserveEndtime ,purpose .
kindly help me in this regard iam stuck on this .

i want to export content of a page in which i also have a datagrid.my code is as follows:-

file is being saved on desktop but not being opened becoz of proper format...

Exactly, you can't magically claim it's a Word file, if it isn't. You can send a text file, or you an interop Word to create a Word file to send.

I have created a code to export the report to excel and it works.. but when i use the export property of the crystal report viewer, all file format works except for the excel format and I am receiving this kind of message whenever I tried using export property of the crystal report viewer..
"Error in File rpt017 {4742A80B-0356-499C-9B57-BE59A69BD788}.rpt: Invalid export DLL or export format."
any idea? someone?

i have a master page
and i added a new page and i select this master page for it
now i written a java script in the content page
which returns date and display in hiddenfield
for that i written like this

That code doesn't even attempt to put the value in a hidden field.

Both the server side code and the database itself are capable of producing this value. Did you use this method to specifically get the time used by the client computer?

but it is not working
i want to display todays date on the page and store it in the database
in database i will store it thru sql date functions
oke its fine
now how to display the date on the page
i used datetime.now()
but it is not working
it showing differnt
i want to display todays date on the page , even the client changes his system date and time , it does not change
plz help me
its urgent
i m searching for it since a week...

Use the "View source" function in your browser, and check what the actual id of the element is.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you want to use the time from the server? Why are you then using Javascript to get the time from the client?

Hey all. I have an ASP.net website that I would like to publish on a hosting server. But I would also like to be able to modify it directly without too much hassle. The problem right now is that once I publish it I can't directly change the code.
Can this be done? Or is it impossible since ASP.net is precompiled? :/

If you are making changes in the aspx pages then you just need to replace the same page there in hosting environment. The same case is there with the cs files also unless you are using the dlls for them.

i m running my site with differnt browsers
it is working fine with IE
but the shapes and positions of controls are changing in Mozilla fire fox

There are different Javascript and tag that are not supported by cross browser.we can put a check on which browser the application is running and accrodingly define it.I think you can get better answer when you'll write the specific problem

my problem is
i have a button, its size is changed when i run my site thru mozilla
the same site if i run thru IE it is fine .
where button position is absolute
i placed a button on a image if user clicks it then the corresponding data is shown to user in new page
but when i run it thru mozilla then button looks small and button text is not clearly visibled...
this is my problem
can i know the syntax for writing javascript basing on the browsers
plz tell me in detail about this

Hi Guys,
Im using asp.net2.0,i have created web setup .msi installation file.In the client machine they doesnt have framework2.0 and iis6.0,so i have include framework2.0 to the custom action--> Install folder and i also download the iis resource kit from the following link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=56FC92EE-A71A-4C73-B628-ADE629C89499&displaylang=en and i have included this also to the same. but it doesnt getting install,how can i do this one.any suggestion??
