Hi use this code i have encrypted my password:

private string EncryptPassword(string Password)
{
System.Security.Cryptography.SHA1CryptoServiceProvider objcrypwd = new System.Security.Cryptography.SHA1CryptoServiceProvider();
byte[] Encr = objcrypwd.ComputeHash(System.Text.Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(Password));
return Convert.ToBase64String(Encr);
}

Now i like to decrypt ther password,
Any one help me to decrypt...,

Have your "forgot password" logic create a New password and mail the new password.

Otherwise you are trying to solve something, that can't be solved.

It's hashing not encryption. So you can't take the original text back from a hash.

I am very new to ASP.Net MVC framework.

I am facing a problem.

I have a page with 2 dropdownlist and one gridview. Now I want to load the 1st dropdownlist with data from one table, 2nd dropdownlist with data from other table and the gridview with data from another table.

Can one controlleraction can get all the data from three different table into a sigle viewdata.

please help me.

So do you want to avoid drop-down lists and get the data from all the three tables to view the same in gridview?

No i want the data from table1 into the dropdownlist1, from table2 into the dropdownlist2 and from table3 into the gridview

ok. just put one button click event.
1) Firt get connected to the database
2) Get the required data from table1, store into a dataset for dropdownlist 1
3) Get the required data from table2, store into a dataset for dropdownlist2
4) Get the required data from table3, store into a dataset for gridview.
5) You can either bind the dataset to the corresponding controls in the above respective steps itself or at the last.

So, at one button click event, you can achieve all the three. There may be other ways to do the same. But I think this is the easy way.
