I have posted few articles but when I log in and go to My Articles then i can only see one post. This is confusing a bit.However I search articles that I have posted and access those articles then I can edit those.
However, I have found the problem in the current bug list. So would you please take a look quickly?

All fixed.
The reason, you haven't seen your articles was that you haven't selected any of the
Technology/Language or Platform attributes for your article.
Please, take a look and assign the relevant ones.

Hi,
I have uploaded a new article yesterday where I had selected the Technology/Language or Platform and all other attributes. But I can't see the article in My Articles list. Is there any problem in Article posting wizard? Anyway I'm requesting you again to take a look.

Having just noticed the My CodeProject page would it be possible to have an option in the profile page so that it redirects us our homepage when we enter the home page rather than having to click on it?

So when you go to www.codeproject.com it takes you to www.codeproject.com/script/membership/mycodeproject.aspx?
Then how would you actually get to the homepage?

Maybe to do a Google  and so something like http://www.codeproject.com/?h=n to force the home page to be the normal page?
By leaving the default as no redirect then only the people who explicitly set it would be redirected. Of course I wouldn't know how much hassle changing all the links to the homepage (i.e. http://www.codeproject.com would be but in theory it should be changed in one place  ).
Just a suggestion anyway, a bit like having a customised Google front-end or the classic one. Perhaps I'm the only one but since the RSS feeds appear to have changed for the lounge I can't be bothered to change them in FeedDemon and actually prefer coming to the site to see what's in the lounge as opposed to the feed reader.

Well, subject says it all, really. Why does CP use javascript for the menu, when the same functionality can be achieved with CSS? Is it just so that the menu items can get cached, reducing the bandwidth used? I think the amount used for the menu is minimal, but the javascript seems to slow down the site when it loads by a noticeable amount.
"impossible" is just an opinion.

Because getting Javascript to display properly is easier than getting CSS to display properly. Caching is also an important consideration as well.
That said, I'd be happy to investigate an alternative if you have a fave implementation that works everywhere

Well, I have an implementation that almost works in Firefox (2 and the latest build of 3, not sure about earlier build) and Opera (whatever is the latest stable build). IE7 (havent tested other versions) hates it completely though. Too bad I dont have enough time for this. CSS is sorta fun to play with.
I guess I'll revisit this eventually...

Quite a few of the posts normally carry the email address of the asker requesting code/solution to be emailed to them. I think this needs to be strongly discouraged.

As mentioned there, it has the following drawbacks:
1) Spam
2) Defeating colloborative solution
Can there be some checks while posting a message that it should not contain email addresses or personal contact information?

If the user wants the answer to be sent per email... it is his/her fault and if he/she receives spam... I think it is not a CP's problem.
Not writing your personal contact info in "opened" forums is common sense.

That's actually the lesser of the problems. The greater problem is that by responding directly to the poster, the rest of the community looses out on the answer. If the poster wanted a private, individualized answer then the question shouldn't have been posted on an open community discussion board.

It's not a question of how long one has been participating in the forums. It's an issue of providing a private answer to a public question.
