Hi Friends,
I am creating the dialog in my application.
in that using CreateSolidBrush() to paint the dialog.
But CreateDialog() is throwing an exception(wingdi.cpp).If i comment CreateSolidBrush()it works fine.
what could be the problem?

I am creating it in OnInitDialog().
and in OnCtlColor(,,)

return hbr;

Try create brush in constructor instead of OnInitDialog.

Where is it crashing ??
In OnCtlColor() dont call base class version always call only in else part.

I traced it.Its crashing in following code.

Did you write this line on the OnInitDialog?

Why you dont insert it on the constructor of your project?
|
|
|

As i said earlier it wont paint the dialog.

I am facing one problem in vc 6.0. i am unable to add files in project.When i right click to "Add files in project" an error message occur "Microsoft (R) Development Studio has encounter a problem and needs to close." I reinstall vc 6.0 but same error appear. 
One solution i found is to edit in dsp file but it is not the right way.
What can i do to solve the problem ??
