These keys aren't guaranteed to be on any version of Windows as they are part of the process to automate a windows login. This feature permits other users to start your computer and to use the account that you establish to automatically log on. However, if you turn on autologon, using Windows XP becomes more convenient. However, using this feature can pose a security risk.

You shouldn't rely on these keys, but should use the System.Environment.UserName property or the GetUserName[^] Win32 API call.
