Webserver won't process SQL statements. It would be send to the database server as packets and database server will execute it.

to hash my password before stroing into my access database programmically
now i am trying to retrieve the data back to show to the user anyone know how?

You can't retrieve the original string, hashing a string is one way operation.

Retrieve what? The password? You can't. That's the whole point of hashing - it's a one way process. The plaintext password cannot be determined from the hash.
Do you actually understand the point of hashing a password?

Common design indicates that the user not be shown his or her respective passwords because it opens up a programmatic door for developers (and others) to easily decipher passwords. I read a study, maybe in 2600, that indicated a large portion of users will use the same password on all systems.

i am having a text box where i entered the date as 14/01/2008 now i want this string date format to convert into mm/dd/yyyy format for validation
I believe this is what you're looking for:
DateTime x = DateTime.Now;
x.ToString("MM/dd/yyyy")
DateTime s = DateTime.ParseExact("14/01/2008", "dd/MM/yyyy", null);
I believe there is also a corresponding js function as well.

Hi Jagadeesh,
You may use CONVERT(CHAR(10), CURRENT_TIMESTAMP/date, 101)
where 101 is UK date format(dd/mm/yyyy) 103 is dd/mm/yyyy.... etc.,
hope this will help.

use System.Globalization
and use Cultureinfo and regioninfo class
if you create object of an regioninfo class you can get the CourencyFormat!!
if you want to create own or cutome CurrencyFormat ..
use sysglobl.dll and use CultureRegionandInfo Builder Class.

Have you checked that the column has a data type of string.
Also the ItemArray returns an object so add .ToString() like this: tempRow.ItemArray[0].ToString());
How can i check datatype
following code is in vb, it's working fine, but c# code which is veri similar to this code is not working..
ds.Tables(0).Columns.Add("imgFile")
For Each tempRow As DataRow In ds.Tables(0).Rows
tempRow.Item(3) = ("Imagegrab.aspx?id=" & tempRow.Item(0))

Suppose u have the sixth column as a checkbox column then do the following.
for (int count = 0; count < a.Rows.Count; count++)<br />
{<br />
CheckBox c = (CheckBox)grdsubbassinfo.Rows[count].Cells[5].FindControl("ch1");<br />
}
