How to dynamically resize the image from database?
|
|
|
|
|
you can use this code for changing dynamically image size :
<br />
frmMain.picReceiver.Image = new System.Drawing.Bitmap(Image.FromFile(@"d:\test.jpg"), 71, 78);<br />

The problem is, once you create a new image, how do you send it to the client ? How do you send it to the client now ?

Maybe he thinks of some client-side stuff. But he must detail a little bit more.

I rerieve the data from databse and displayed the image in formview,the image detail in table control.But i want to display the image in table control and increase the particular column width and height
|

Well, resizing one columns width resizes them all, and it has nothing to do with your database. Are you displaying an image, or text ? Do you have the image data in your DB or just an image path ?

Hi Basheer,
If you want to customize datatable, you can get table by following code :
ds.Tables[0] //ds is dataset
When you get table in dataset, you can do anything with that table
Hoping this will help you ^^

hi
can anyone help me in generating auto emails after checking the credentials of the user.i am using .net2.0/vb.net/oracle
thank you

Please don't cross post.
Sending emails via VB.NET is very easy and widely documented. What do you want the auto emails to say, and what credentials are you talking about ?

Hi,
I have created a small project which uses a SQL Server DB. I have a stored procedure whcih takes certain parameters.
In my website project I SQLDataSource defined which uses uses the stored procedure.
If I do not specify any of the parameters int he SelectQuery of the datasource the program hits the DB (can see in the SQL profiler) and gets the data, while if I specify the parameters and the program doesn't hit the DB (There is no entry in the SQL profiler). I just can't understand why it is happening as it doesn't give any errors.
Thanks for your time and help in advance.

Am posting a sample method which calls the GetSP() stored proc and passes a parameter named ID. Check if this is helpful.
public static DataTable GetAll()
{
connection.Open();
using (SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand("GetSP", connection))
{
command.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
using (SqlDataAdapter adapter = new SqlDataAdapter(command))
{
SqlParameter idParameter = new SqlParameter();
idParameter.ParameterName = "@ID";
idParameter.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input;
idParameter.SqlDbType = SqlDbType.Int;
idParameter.Size = 4;
idParameter.Value = ID;
command.Parameters.Add(idParameter);
DataSet ds = new DataSet();
adapter.Fill(ds, "Delegate");
return ds.Tables[0];
}
}
}

Thanks for the reply, but I want to be able to do it through the SQLDatasource that I have defined. For this approach I will have to use SqlDataAdapter but I want to keep this as the last option.

Hi,
I have a user control with a number of controls on it including hidden fields.
lets say one of the hidden fields id is text1.
lets say the user control is added to an aspx page and the controls id is control1.
so at runtime the id of text1 becomes control1_text1_ctl00
I need to pass the id of the field to a javascript function how can i get the runtime id at runtime?
- if i say field.ClientID in the control code i get text1_ctl00
- if i sat field.Parent.ClientID i get text1
how can i get the full name of the field or the id of the control on the page?
Many thanks,
Chas
