Hi,
my database is Ms-Access database..
iam doing product based application(windows application)
i have to store data based on the invoice number...
invoice number is (primarykey)
based on invoice number i have to store multiple items
reports
when i select invoice number those items should be displayed...
please help me

Hi,
Just write the query with where condition.
for eg.
select * from tablename where invoicenumber='xyz'

i think your datatable should designed as follows:
ProductedId(pk) Products units TypeId

7 Nokia8300 1 3

Connection string:

query sentence:
select * from products where typeid=x;
hope it will work as you wanted.

I want to trim the value so i just write a simple query
in MSACCESS 2000
SELECT Trim([ItemName]) AS Expr1
FROM Items
But it will give error "Undefind function "Trim" in expression"
What to do...?

There is no TRIM commmand in T-SQL you have to use LTRIM then RTRIM as follows:
SELECT LTRIM(RTRIM(ItemName)) Expr1 FROM Items

Even with big colored banners, we encounter real dumb persons dumping sh*t all around. How do you expect a little text without any adoration to help out a color-blind myopic persons?

How about a checkbox under the Text field which says '[x] This is not a programming question' (unchecked by default). Then after you check it and click Post Message a JavaScript dialog pops up and asks 'Are you sure this is not a programming question? [Yes/No]'.
This would be annoying for everyone, but it still might work.  Although knowing trolls it probably wouldn't.

Your SQL servers are running on the google network? No wonder you can't find them. What we did is keep them all on our own network, label them with a big sticker saying 'SQL SERVER'. Piece of cake to find them then. Also, put them somewhere prominent, like a rack, or a desk. We did have one, a small one hidden away in a cupboard, took somebody over a day to find that one.
Also, if they go out at night, put a collar on them with a bell - make them much easier to track down in the morning.
