What error? You haven't explained what the error is.

There is no error. Rename default3.aspx to default.aspx and then you'll have a chance of it running automatically when you browse to the folder.

I guess that means it's not allowed there. The error message implies that a fully qualified path may be accepted.

Then why did you do it ?

This is a different issue to what you first posted.
As I said to you yesterday, every path I see to a master page in web config examples online uses a full path, not just the page name. Did you try that ? What did you change to get this new error ? How can we help you if you don't show us the code that creates the error ?

hi all,
paroblem as follows,
i am using third party control for page navigation.the index of the datagrid current page index not matching with the third party control index.for example when i am deleting last record in second page i am able to bind with the first page. but if am deleting any record in first page it is throwing exception "Invalid CurrentPageIndex value. It must be >= 0 and < the PageCount." the code as follows :
this.dgUserList.CurrentPageIndex = this.dgnNav.CurrentPage;
//Reset the page Navigation if deleting the only record on the last page.
if (dgUserList.Items.Count <= 1 && dgUserList.CurrentPageIndex == dgUserList.PageCount - 1)
{
if (this.dgnNav.CurrentPage <= dgUserList.PageCount && this.dgnNav.CurrentPage > 0)
{
dgUserList.CurrentPageIndex = this.dgnNav.CurrentPage - 1;
}
}
this is the page index of third party control
this.dgnNav.CurrentPage;
Thanks And Regards,

Have you tried asking the makers of the third party control?

Hi,
I have a grid view in a web page, i am using paging for that, the problem is if the grid view contains 2 or 3 records, these rows occupy entire grid view space(i.e full height of the grid view), is there any way to control this, i want the row height to be static even there 2 rows or 200 rows.
Thanks in advance

If you dont set the height property in the GridView, then it will only be as tall as it has to be.

I have a database from where I read Images as byte[] and then convert it to System.Drawing.Image. How can I display that image on my aspx-form?

MemoryStream imgStream = new MemoryStream(byte[] imgbinary, 0, imgbinary.length);
System.Drawing.Image img = System.Drawing.Image.FromStream(imgStream);
img.Save(Server.MapPath("~/destinationfolder/sample.jpg"), System.Drawing.Imaging.ImageFormat.Jpeg);
Image1.ImageUrl = "~/destinationfolder/sample.jpg";
Now you can display image in image control without using handler or another asp.net page
Display system.drwing.image in ImageControl

Now I want to export this data to excel in following format (Each data in one row)

How can I achive this? Do I need to take a seprate Gridview which is hidden [but do not know how to achive this]?
Or is there a way i can directly export the datatable to Excel. I will not be using Miscosoft excel component to use it in any case.
Please suggest

Hello,
I am using a GridView in combination with an ObjectDataSource.
What I am after is a method to call (eg, after the row has been edited), which will return the values bound to the DataObject (i.e. the object that was passed in, or the object that is defined by the ObjectDataSource.DataObjectTypeName property).
Currently, such a method is available when hooking into the RowDataBound action. The property GridViewRowEventArgs.Row.DataItem returns the values that have been bound as a DataObject.
I would like to be able to call such a method when I am responing to postbacks (ie, from a button).
I have looked at GridView.Rows[index].DataItem , but that always seems to be null.
Any hint in right direction is appreciated.
Cheers

Although I'm not entirely certain have a look at the ObjectDataSource's OnUpdated event. There should be arguments passed to that to allow you retrieve the data.

The DataItem in GridViewRows is not saved by viewstate except in some functions such as RowDataBound.
