I don't say all of the answer you got above are wrong but they may be create
problem (Error) If any user input any text in the textbox I.e. instead of numbers any other input will throw an error.
So you have to make your own function...I also done this
please use
public static int ToInt(object obj)
{
string s = ToStr(obj);
return (s.Length > 0 ? int.Parse(s) : 0);
}

I don't see how this is going to work better than int.TryParse, which was suggested above.

May be this is not a good solution but it won't give the error in the case of
non numeric value is entered by user.

TryParse returns a boolean value to check whether or not the conversion was successful.
It definitely isn't definatley

Consider a NumericUpDown instead.

Hi,
I have to parse MIB files. More precisely I need to list Traps and Notifications with all their information like oids, variables or objects. But, be able to get all information, will be the best.
Does anyone know libraries to do this or good way to parse MIB files?
Thank you in advance!

Thanks, but I've seen this article before. I can't find there anything about parsing MIB files.

True. Multiple posting guarantees intimidating the experts who visit the forums driving them away from helping you.

Not even DotFuscastor Community Tool which ships with Visual Studio .NET?

I'm not sure anyone feels intimidated by it (I certainly don't). But it is very irritating.

So any solution from your site...?

But that just obfuscates the code... it doesnt stop his friend adding a reference to the compiled binary and using the classes contained.

The whole point of libraries is to create code that can be re-used. If you want to limit who can use that code you need to look up "Code Access Security". It is not something that can be explained in a single forum post - the subject is literally huge. I suggest a good book on CAS.

Thanks for reply...
Any URL's and e-Books on CAS...?;)

You're not being very friendly, either give hime the assembly or don't; but don't give it to him and tell him not to use it. What if he did the same to you?
Have you considered a WebService that resides on your system and he accesses with your client?
