Hello Friends,

I'm using the following codes for the link(Button) in ASP.NET's DataGrid

.saams { PADDING-LEFT: 5px; FONT-SIZE: 9pt; COLOR: red; FONT-FAMILY: arial; TEXT-DECORATION: none }

.saams:hover { FONT-WEIGHT: bold; COLOR: red; font-size:20pt; }

<asp:buttoncolumn text="Edit" itemstyle-cssclass="saams" ....<="" b="">

Using this CSS it is just implementing font-size,font-family but not implementing color

and also plz let me know how to set CSS for hovering

Try to implement the style-sheet classes in a .CSS file and refer that in your aspx page.
Looks like you are trying out some samples from the books.

Can u also consider one of my anoter probs.

I've desinged a websitte in ASP.NET1.1 and it's desinging looking as i want but it is looking ugly in mozilla......
Mainly my Side Menu. Here i'm giving the CSS below if u find any probs. plz let me know.....

HI There is nothing Wrong In ur CSS... Smile | :)

It is very Difficult To Maintain Concurruncy[Lookwise] Between IE and Mozilla
Especially when u r developing an applcation in 1.1

Look,
What makes the Big Diffrence is, Framework 1.1.
In 1.1 there is no such kind of facilities like 2.0's HTML Editor has.
1.1's Table Structure and Panel's Won't Be going to be same In Mozilla.

If u want to build WEB which should be compitible to Mozilla Also,
You should go for a DIV Structure for whole Application.

You Can't Manage Look only with CSS.
So keep in mind,Next Time When you develope application USE framework 2.0 and Use

Everywhere in ur HTML/ASPX.

hi,
i'm facing a problem in my logout section. even after logout user can go back to the previous page by clicking browsers back button.
i'm using code like this....
its working in Internet Explorer but not working in any other browsers.

plz help me..

its the problem of cache. Try clearing you browsers cache programatically

I think the problem is more complicated than just clearing the cache and using session.abandon. I was facing a kind of this problem: click there to see the solution I came up with:

Hi,
i want to create one option for importa nd export outlook contacts from my asp.net web page.One of the way to retrive the contacts is,

MyOutlook.Application oApp = new MyOutlook.Application();
oApp.AnswerWizard.ClearFileList();
oApp.ActiveWindow();

MyOutlook.MAPIFolder oContacts = (MyOutlook.MAPIFolder)oApp.Application.ActiveExplorer().Session.GetDefaultFolder(MyOutlook.OlDefaultFolders.olFolderContacts);

foreach (MyOutlook.ContactItem oContact in oContacts.Items)

}

How should i export the data to outlook.
Pls help me if u know anything related to this.

The core code in this article for reading the data from Outlook isn't platform-specific. You can use it in a Windows or ASP.NET application. Obviously you will have to write your own front-end, but this is trivial.

-I need to callculate an age, Which is entered in a text box.
"This thing I need to do without postback the page."

-This thng I can make with postback the page but I need it done on the spot when entered a date to a perticular text box and the next moment the Age should be calculated and entered in the another text box.

-So something like javascript or anythig that can do so....
