How can a winform table layout panel be constructed with mutiple columns on the top row and only one single column on the bottom row?

TableLayout panel must be simetric. You can solve this creating a panel and add inside the tablelayout panel and a panel. Set Dock of panel to bottom, and tlp Dock property to Fill.

Use ColumnSpan Property of control that inside the first bottom row cell. Set it to desired number of columns...

Hey all,
I know there is ton of info out there about my problem but i just don't seem to get it now in the right time.
Again this might be a piece of cake but it is hard for me to do it, here it goes:
I have developed 3 apps 2 to be run on windows pc, server/client, and one for a pocket pc, all of them need a login form, here is where my problem comes, to be accessed. I just don't know how to add buttons and labels to the newly created form. I was thinking on creating a separate app for the login and then calling the main application, but the problem will be how to block the main application from starting when is double clicked?
And sorry to ask again does anybody has used a microsoft finger reader without any 3rd party sdk? Or have done it with GrFinger ? If please help to read images from the finger print reader.
I am so desperate to finish this project that i am sleeping barely 2 hours a day. So far all i am missing is the login form, Active Directory management to verify the users and the fingerprint reader...

ps: People I admire each one of you who know this much C# programming, this learning in the process has been a terrific expirience thanks to the existence of C#, i just hoped it could have been less stressful.

So how did you do the other forms in your app ?
You need to integrate the login with your app, you can't factor it out. It needs to be a form within your app. You can't have a login app that runs the main app. The only way to do that would be for the app to require a key on the command line, but it's not a good idea at all.

Well since i am learning in the process I was letting VS2005 to do it for me but now i am doing it myself because i now know how to it.
I just forgot about the Form.Controls.Add method...

Hi everybody,
I have developed a website using C# & Visual Studio 2005. The website must be able to get system information (RAM, HDD etc) from the user's computer and display it on the screen.
When I run the website on localhost, everything works out fine. But as soon as I install the website on a IIS 6.0 webserver and try to run it from a client computer, I get an error that says "Object not referenced". What on earth is going on here? Can anyone please help?

The label has a Text property and the mouse move event args contains the mouse position.

It sounds like you're saying you have no idea how to write any code and you want me to provide it ? Which bit are you stuck with ? The control has a mouse move event. What do you mean by 'mouse move value' ?

I WANT THAT INFORMATION ASSIGNED TO A LABEL
SIMPLY U MOVE UR MOUSE AND OBSERVE THE STATUS BAR DIFFERENT STRINGS WILL APPEAR BASED ON THE LOCATION OF MOUSE.
I WANT THAT STRING ASSINED TO LABEL...

You can't do that. The Label control only exists while the page is created on the server. In the browser the only thing that exists is the element that the browser created from the html code that the Label generated.
You have to use Javascript to put the text in an html element on the page.

He couldn't, as there was no actual information in the question that indicated that. I think it's more how the question "felt", I also got the feeling that it was more likely to be a web question when I first read it.

If you could not work out that I was giving answers for a winforms app, then I seriously doubt that you're in any position to be writing the code you're looking for.
I even told someone that they had given the wrong answer because this is not the ASP.NET forum.

Experts,
I'm taking a course in image processing (under Homeland Security). This class was supposed to be an Analysis course; however, the teacher has been focusing heaviliy on C/C++ programming. That's a different story though...
Anyhow, I need to develop a (simple) C/C++ program that does do "something fun" with images (as it relates to Homeland Security).
This project is due in 3 weeks. The instructor isn't very helpful as far as guiding us through the process (e.g. recommendations for "manageable" projects). I have VERY limited C/C++ programming skills and I feel like I'm running out of options.
So, my question:
- where can I find some source code that relates to image processing? Obviusly, I've googled sites, but don't seem to find some existing code that I could either try to enhance or built upon. I tried sites such as Yuv408.com, CodeCogs, CoderProject, etc. Unfortunately, I don't see anything that I use given the "image processing" and "homeland security" constraints.
PLEASE HELP!

Given that you've asked in the C# forum, I have a series of articles on image processing in C# on Code Project. How hard did you look ?
The code in question was modified from C++ code, actually. If you use a DIBSECTION to access the image bytes, you can easily recreate the algorithms in my articles in C++.

I need to perform image processing (I'm open to a specific topic) within the C/C++ domain.
