Hello Everybody
I created a webservice that returns data in xml format and this service is working fine. But when i use Ajax to communicate between my webservice and aspx page my xmlhttp.status comes to 500(i.e. Internal Server Error) instead of 200(i.e. Ok). I tried whatever possible upto my knowledge.
Please Help.

Hello all,
in my master page is having body onkeydown event. Which code written using Java Script. In this JS code are avoiding Enter key press.
I have one webpage1.aspx pages, it is refers to that master page. In this aspx page there is one multiline textbox txtBox1
My problem is in multiline textbox enter key is not working, because masterpage is having body onkeydown validation, so that i am unable to press enter in my multiline textbox
I need to avoid this onkeydown event only for webpage1.aspx. How can i do this.
plz give me any solution. any sounds will be appritiated.

You obviously need a way to stop the masterpage from addng this script to your specific page.

if i write onkeydown event code(accepting enter button)in my aspx page, is it overrides the masterpage onkeydown code?

You can solve this problem using keycode value for enter key .
set condition true for enter key.

Hi! i am developing a multilingual site in which i am using global resources. i want when an user select a language from a drop down list in the home page, this language automatically become default language for all web page for this session. i have solved this problem by putting selected language in session & in every page's page load event i have retrieve value from the session & set CurrentThread's CurrentUICulture & CurrentCulture.
but i want when a user select a particular language then it become default laguage for this session. what is the solution?

I don't understand, I thought you said you had done that already. You're choosing a language, and it works for the session, so you have what you asked for.

on loading xml string in xmldocument it gives error illegal characters in path even if i give sinfle mode in it like

Have you perhaps confused the method to load XML from a string and the method to load XML from a file path ?

Hi,
I'm having some problem with AJAX, hope to get some work around from you guys here.
I have 2 drop down box and 1 GridView - ddProject, ddTask, GridView1
ddTask is in the UpdatePanel1
GridView1 is in the UpdatePanel2
OnSelectedIndexChanged on ddProject will fill up ddTask which works fine.
My GridView1 will present the data base on the value selected in ddTask, the problem is the where clause in GridView1's Control does not have the ddTask for me to choose.
I put a textbox outside all UpdatePanel and name it txtTask so that GridView1 can refer to this for displaying data, and do a OnSelectedIndexChanged on ddTask but txtTask is not filled with anything when I select from ddTask.
The question is, how do I bring out data from UpdatePanel to controls that are outside the UpdatePanel.

You must add the triggers after the content template in updatepanel.

Thanks man, it works, it actually pass the value out.
But I did some changes to it. I put the txtTask into UpdatePanel2 and add AsyncPostBack for ddTask in UpdatePanel2, so when SelectIndexChanged trigger for ddTask, it update txtTask in UpdatePanel2, now my GridView1 in UpdatePanel2 can refer to txtTask with no problem.

U just got that much of record in grid the record u showing. so use some session or something and keep the datatable . in that scenario u can get the data.

actually my datatable is in session but i m using FindControl which uses RowIndex to search the record but RowIndex is from 0 to 4 in first page.To retrieve 6th record it has to move to second page and get another 5 records .
How to do that?
