exactly i want to create a calculator..for that i have to check whether a button clicked is digit/opeerator/other..for that if i take simple buttons then i have to ckeck for each buttons..instead i want to do like that if i press any button then i should get it's text i.e. whether it is digit/operator/other????????

it's possible in ASP.NET. Place a Container Control(placeholder) in your ASPX Page, Create the number of Button Control's dynamically and Add each control to the placeholder's Control Collection and set the Properties. This code has to be written on the OnInit of the Form to make the dynamical control participate in the viewstate. I tested. It work's perfect in my system. try it out...

I used DTpicker control to display the clender and which is not displayed correctly on my page.Because the contol like Dropdowndown box hides the calendar.I couldn't see the calendar well on my page.
So i need to use Asp:Calendar control which should display the calendar well on my page.
Please reply friend.

A quick search in google[^] returned thousands of calendar controls. Which will you interested to ? AJAX toolkit comes with an excellent calendar extender control, If you application is in ASP.NET 2.0, and it supports AJAX, you can use this.

I'm experiencing an unexpected problem with posbacks on my user control.
I have a private variable within a user control which I initialize in the Page_Load event of the class (see code snippet below). I also have my button click event in which I call a method of this private variable. When the button is clicked, I would expect the Page_Load event handler to be called which will initialize the variable, and then the button click event handler to run the method, but what I'm seeing is the "_presenter" variable is null once it reaches the button click event handler. (It initializes ok in the Page_Load event). Am I misunderstanding the page life cycle? I've used similar code for web pages with success. The OnLoad and Event handler run in the same cycle so I would expect the variable to remain "alive" during the cycle. The code here is complete except for some accessor/modifers I didn't include. The user control is placed within a repeater. Any comments would be great.

Remaining all looks fine and it works for me too. But I have doubt on putting this in repeater. Can you explain this bit more ?
