Hi, I have made a web service and when I build the application and add the Web Reference in my Windows Application, I am not getting the Begin and End Method for making Asynchronous Web service calls.
Its urgent. Kindly help. I am using C#.

Did you manually create the web reference or did you use VS to generate the web reference?
If you are using VS remove the reference to the web service and delete the generated cs file. Then add the reference again, there should be no probably with this since all the async behavior is controlled by .Net on the client application side. The remote server does not need to know anything about the async behavior of the client.
If however you have created the class yourself you will need to manually add the async calls.

Hi,
I have done exactly according to the link provided by you. I created a webservice and added the reference in my windows application.
I then created an object of the web service class and tried to call the Begin method, but the begin method does show up. I am not able to call the Begin method of my web method.

Sorry my information is a little out of date. Things have changed it seems from 1.1 to 2. Anyway I created a quick test service and console app. You need to assign an event handler to the completed event for the method invoked. Then invoke the method using the async method call. The result of the method call is contained in the event args passed into the event handler.
You have to think about the race condition between the main thread and the async thread when using this method of invoking the async call.
Here is my code:

By the looks of it no, you will need to create a way of checking that all the async request have completed.

Hi, All is well, but when I try to implement your Test_HelloWorldCompleted method, the HelloWorldCompletedEventArgs does not come up. I can only see the HelloWorldCompletedEventHandler.

Hi,
i have written a code for converting Xls to Xml but got struct upwith a situation.Say, a parrent node has 4 child node and those child nodes has sub child nodes.
In this 4 child nodes, any 2 child nodes may be same(including their sub childs). If that is the case the second occurance(duplicate) should be removed.
But any 2 child node value is same but the sub child are different means i need the append the subchild of 2nd occurance with 1st occurance and remove 2nd occurance
What shall i do??

Sounds like when you find two nodes that are the same at one level, you need to write a recursive function that steps down to see if the child nodes are also the same.

I have created a validation in js for my website and calling that function on a button(save)... can u explain- If iam clicking on any control, it is showing error: Object expected (anonymus function call).

Download the firebug add in for firefox, then the code will break at your error and you'll be able to diagnose it. Without you posting the code, there's no way anyone can help you, and the FF/FB solution is your first port of call.

I want to know whether the session id is unique when a group of people browsing through the same site, same page at the same time.
Can anybody help?

SessionID is generated in RAM on the Webserver and It is not a persistent property. It is unique at the time is it created.but not guaranteed to be unique. 
Same SessionID might be used again after your Web server has been restarted. This means that you shouldn't attempt to track the same user over time by using her SessionID.

It's created on the server, and also stored as a cookie on the client.
The server has to keep track of the session id:s that it has created, so that it can verify that the id exists when the client sends another reuqest.
In earlier versions of IIS, the Session object was used to keep track of session. In more recent versions, the Session object is only retained if any data has been stored in it, otherwise only the session id is retained, and a new Session object is created for every request.

No. A Session object can only be accessed by a request that is associated with the sesson, i.e. sends the session id in the correct cookie.
