Hi,
I hav implemented the functionality to call a popup window.
but while i child window appears , the value of parent will refresh.

suggest Clue If Any.

use the following javascript function.. pass the target url, width and height of the window to be opened.

function OpenWindow(url, width, height)
{
if( url == null || url == "" )
{ return false; }

If the Javascript function that is used to popup the window return's True then it will refresh. To avoid this page post back set the return value to False

Hi,
If i am not wrong, that you want to covert your that VB Script code to VB.Net. and that's why i want to know the object of that function , that what it should do? for vb.net you have to use the System.management dll and nets System.Management Namespace.

I just want to know from you that what u are trying to do using that function. Or you want to convert any VB Scipt WMI code to VB.Net WMI.

yaa i want to covert the VB Script code to VB.Net and i using this WMI function in (Live Communications Server Management API). i using this wmi first time so i don't know how to make connection to server and other function of this wMI.....

, In this tool you can get code of VB Script, VB.Net, and C# and i think the source code will help u

Hi all,

I have made one web user control. Now I know how to pass string parameters in it but I am not able to pass server control as user control parameter. It is like we can pass data source to gridview.

You don't have to pass the Server-Control as a parameter to the User-Control. You can place it on the User-Control. User Control is similar to a container Control. It can contain any server control/any number of server controls.

when we need to make web application deployment why we need to install asp.net after installation of .net framework .

i want to make a website in asp.net plz tell what all i need to do for this ..................................................................

To build a web application using .NET, you need .NET Framework and Visual Studio installed in your PC.

To make your web application available on the Intranet, You need to Deploy it on the Server.
