Take Checkbox in ItemTemplate of gridview and bind with status field.
check checkbox if value=1 or uncheck for value=0
try the following code in ItemTemplate

Yes. I have read and understand what he want to do. and I just suggested him to take checkbox to display active and inactive value.
He can also change status with checkbox control if he want to do.

First, it's aspnet_regiis -c (without s in regiis). Each version of the .NET Framework includes an ASPNET_REGIIS tool. To configure a particular version of ASP.NET, you need to locate and use the corresponding version of ASPNET_REGIIS. The tool can be found in the version-specific framework directory, under the Microsoft.NET\Framework subdirectory of your Windows system folder.For a list of all options, enter aspnet_regiis -?.
There you can find what -c command is.

Can anyone help me regarding crytal report...I actually want to expand every single row while clicking on a row it will convert into many rows accordinly on a same report...
Is it possible in Crystal Report?????
It is as same like Drill Down report..but the difference is all remaining detail on report remain same while user click on a row...
Sample is as given below
Main } == Clicking a row
->Sub } -- Expand/Create new row
-->SUb 2 } ----Again click and expand/create new row

Hi,
I have a gridview which has few dynamic columns and few static columns. Each time of reload of the gridview I want to clear all the dynamic column only. But while using the columns.clear property of gridview it is clearing all the columns.
Is there any way that I can clear only the dynamic columns.

Iterate through columns collection and remove individually. For this you need to keep the dynamically generated columns index/name somewhere.

Hi Ballita,
For your problem I think using the RowDataBound event of the GridView will be a better idea. While each row is getting bound you can dynamically decide which cols will be visible. You can also do other stuff like clear the content of the cells of that row before binding.

You don't fetch any column from tbl_Employee with the name DeptId. The expression dataSet.Tables["tbl_Employee"].Columns["DeptId"] returns null.

In the above statement u r not fetching the column deptid but u r trying to use this in this statement
dataSet.Relations.Add("child", dataSet.Tables["tbl_Deprament"].Columns["DeptId"], dataSet.Tables["tbl_Employee"].Columns["DeptId"]);
Here Columns["DeptId"] returns null
