Hello Friend,
Actuall i've one more prob. in sending email through my ASP.NET(1.1) program.
If u get a bit of time free plz have a look at my probs.
I want to send the email through my ASP.NET project. And it's working at localhost when i'm taking the SMTP Server as "127.0.0.1" but when i'm uploading this project on server it's throwing me an error "could not access cdo.Message object" . still i've taken my SMTPServer not as "127.0.01" but still it's throwing an error
In the page an auto-response is generated when a client makes an enquiry then an auto-response is generated at his/her email
MailMessage mail1=new MailMessage();
mail1.To=txtEmail.Text;
mail1.From="mail@priveejets.com";
mail1.Subject="Auto Responder";
mail1.Priority=MailPriority.High;
mail1.BodyFormat=MailFormat.Html;
mail1.Body="Thanks for the Enquiry "+"
"+"We'll get you soon"+"
"+"------------------"+"
"+"Thanks & Regards"+"
"+"Priveejets Team";
SmtpMail.SmtpServer="mail.saamstesting.com";
SmtpMail.Send(mail1);
|
|
|
|
|
document.getElementById('id1').value=document.getElementById('id2').value;
HERE ID1 IS NAME OF HTML INPUT TYPE=TEXT AND ID2 IS TEXTBOX ID

i tried to append or remove node from body section to Head section.
whend i see in javascript it is working fine.
but at last when page render on browser it does not reflect the changes done on page on browser.
even i see the source code it still show the original Html in page.
below is my code.
document.getElementById('pop').removeChild(newNode);
document.getElementById('pop').appendChild(newnode);

The only information that is sent to the server on a postback is the values in the form fields. The entire page is not sent back to the server, so the server code have no idea that you have added or removed elements in the page.
On a postback, the entire page is created from scratch. If you want the server code to do the same changes as you did in the client script, you have to send some information back to the server that it can use to determine what elements should be on the page.

actually i am calling a javascript method on body onload which is client site.
and i written the code in javascript method after page render.
actualli i debug the javascript

Then there is simply something wrong with your Javascript code. What does the code look like, and what error message do you get?

You could pass it through URL like:
http://www.yourdomain.com/page.jsp?var1=VALUE1&var2=VALUE2 ...

Yep, positive. Oracle forms uses ".jsp" pages to display content through web. You can pass any string in JSP (same in ASP.NET and even PHP) through the url.
So basically all you have to do is to redirect the user from the asp page to the jsp using URL parameters as I described in my earlier post.
