Hi,
Friends, i need your help...in my project all the text attributes are reading from resource file for better customization..so in my project i keep all the values in resource file and read it from there, but the problem is that i want to read the resource file from anotherClasslibrary for adding text value to a label control....
if somebody help me how will i solve this issue....i am using asp.net c#

and can use the assembly.LoadAssembly method to load the assembly from another class project.

in u r class library project,
in the class constructor pass the path of resource file,
save this path in one string variable,
by using the code u can retrive using ResouceManger Class.

Hi all,
I have a case where i want to minimize data entry mistakes for names. So i established a tables names in sql and developed a autocomplete function that reads from this table and opens a div undeneath the text box with possible entries from the table that starts with the same letters typed in the textbox. To make it faster iam saving these names on client side on page load cause i want to delete the server side trip. Later I was surprised that this text file(holdiong names) contain more than 30000 names and the same for last name. So my tool turned so slow when getting names client side on page load. Any ideas on a possible way to solve this issue or any body can suggest a tool that is fast enough to satisfy my client.
Please note that my client didn't like Ajax autocomplete because it is slow (according to him).

Without using Ajax, you are pretty much stuffed. You have cached the data on the client side and it is too large so that means you are going to need to go back to the server somehow. It's either postback or Ajax.
Really, you need to knock together a version of the site with Ajax on, and one with the data cached client side and do a comparison of speed - and then show the client. It is up to you to change his mind.

Hi,
I have a table web control whose rows are generating dynamically in the Textbox's TextChanged event. After generating the table I am counting its rows in the same event and it is showing correct but on clicking on the save button in that page the row count of the table becomes 0.
Why it is so? I want to get the value.

You have to recreated thats rows on click of save Button.
Dynamically created controls need to be created at every Postback.

In my table I am dynamically adding dropdownlist and selecting some value in the dropdown list and I need to save those values on button click. So if i will recreate that rows than I can't get those values. Is there any other way with out recreating it?

Create one console Application OR class library Project.
Write belove code in Main Methods
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("http://www.MyApp.com");
build It.You will get one .Exe file in BIN folder
Now Open One Setup project.
Add this .Exe file in Application Folder,User's desktop and User's Program Menu and build it . Setup File will be created in Bin Folder.
Now Install it in your pc.
You will get one .exe file in your desktop.
Now You can open your application on clicking of that .exe file.

I am having a .Net web appication done in Ajax using Ajax .dll..I use lot of javascript functions for validations.The script works fine in IE but it doesn't work in Mozilla firefox browser..Wat could be the problem...?
Someone help in this regard as early as possible...

The thing might be javascript is broser specific you could have written the code which will work in IE but will not work in others so check where you went wrong and how to do that as far as other browser are concerns

Wat could be the reason..? i use Ajax dll do avoid postbacks..
Is javascript browser specific..?
I didn't focus my application to work only in .IE .By default it works well in IE and not working in Firefox..The script is not at all firing..In fact how to identify where i went wrong..?
