Hi,
I have one forgot password page,
where i use to check the user identity details and redirecting him to the next page if he is a valid user.
Now i want to display his Secret Question which he provided while registering in the next page.
How to display the Question according to the user provided identity details in the next page.
Can any body help me out......

To get the details provided in the previous page in another page, you can use any of these options
1 - Store value in a session state
2 - Pass as querystring
Check this[^] to get started. Then query you DB with the details you have and mail the password to the address provided at the time of registration

Hi.
I want to create an online exam (4-answers).
The exam must be in this form:
a question in each page, and user can go back and forward in questions and the answer that he/she has choosed must maintain.
for example when user choose an answer (as correct) and go next question, then go back the choosed answer must be selected.
And when he/she wants terminate the exam, now with go forward and back in questions he/she must can see the correct answer selected in green and the answerd the selected answer in red (if incorrect)
And in final I don't want to save the result of Exam in DB(I don't need It), only user see the result and the end.
Can give me general help how can I implement this?
I use FormView, But It don't save the answer that user selects (i.e when user choose an answer and go next question, then go back the choosed answer is not selected)

Hi, All
Please assist me how can I use Input box in asp.net 2.0. Which similar to Input box in windows application. Currently I am using Input box of visual basic by adding the dll but it is not appearing in front of the web page.

The easiest way is to do this using a javascript prompt box, using code like
name=prompt("Please enter your name","Enter your name here");
Obviously this is client side and if you need to send this to the server you will need to do something like put the value into a hidden control on the form and perform a postback.

If i install this pack it will be overwrite that one or it wont?,
Becoz if its overwrite my other prgs will spoil...,

No installing VS2005 will not spoil your VS2003 programs.Both can be run parallel in the same system.

Hi Magi,
I would suggest you to install professional version as it contains everything you require to do the development.The team edition is more for large projects which also includes lots of testing tools.
You can get more information of the same in the same site where they have given shot description of what each edition have.And download the best that suits you.

SQL Server 2000 database 'bit' type problem.

I haven't given any initial value of that field in design time
For Ex. The current value of 'Active' field is : 0
Now, I'm fire a update query of other fields except 'Active' field.
But, this query update the value of 'Active' field with 1.
Means, I haven't use this 'Active' field in my Query.
My Query is : update tblProduct set Name = 'xxxx' where ProductID = 1
but, After fire this query, My 'Active' fields value become 1, while it was 0.
So, This is my problem.
Hope you will get this now.
Please, Help me as soon as possible.
